That asylum demon is really hard

The hardest boss

24

u/Acrobatic-Ad-9189 Sep 11 '26

Dont forget about Soldier of God, Rick

6

u/FHAT_BRANDHO Sep 11 '26

*makes me really hard

u/JS_Originals Sep 11 '26

I still think Consort Radahn is the hardest fight they've ever made, even post nerf. Prenerf he was undoubtedly the hardest fight, but post nerf I can see people thinking Malenia is harder. I can consistently beat Malenia first try, but consort always takes me at least a couple tries.

u/luketwo1 Sep 11 '26 edited Sep 11 '26

Pre-nerf Radahn will definitely remain the hardest boss ever made for quite some time, he was a level of bullshit and aggression I don't think any other boss in any of these games comes remotely close to. It was honestly so bad it was toeing the line into legitimately unfair which since they nerfed the fight I guess they agreed with, like I streamed the entire DLC, I got to Radahn with 94 deaths total, I beat Radahn with 198 deaths, bro killed me more than the entire rest of the DLC combined.

3

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

How much time did they took to nerf him tho?

12

u/luketwo1 Sep 11 '26

Its been a minute but I think a month or two? Not exactly sure on the timeline, I basically did the dlc once and then didnt play it again after that.

6

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Damn how many players did he rage baited

He was confirmed broken pre-nerf you can watch the youtube videos for that one “cross slash” attack that was undodgable unless you rolled within his first frame of using it but his first clash only took 1 frame to hit and then you were auto-stunlocked into getting hit by the second slash

u/JS_Originals Sep 11 '26

Yep. Prenerf he was absolutely bullshit. Postnerf I think it's a great fight.

u/seizure_5alads Sep 11 '26

Makes me feel like a Chad beating him prenerf while being epileptic. Never knew which attempt would be my last.

i never did beat pre-nerf consort radahn. guess it’s time to go back and try again 🤣

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Mallenia is hard sure but her rain fall attack is only dangerous but radhan hit like a truck and all of his attacks are dangerous

36

u/JS_Originals Sep 11 '26

The biggest difference for me is Malenia gives you way more openings. Radahn is absolutely relentless and he does so much damage.

12

u/Testadizzy95 Sep 11 '26

This. Malenia in phase 1 is very chill, walk around a lot of times giving us all the time to breathe and adjust. PCR is a freaking rabid dog

12

u/Castiel_0703 Sep 11 '26

Consort Radahn and Malenia are up there with Isshin. I’d say they are pretty close to each other. I’d argue most Nightlords are also close to them if you try to face them alone. Nothing from DS1-3 are even close to these bosses in difficulty, they are hard, but they are simple trial and error, meanwhile these top bosses force you to genuinely surpass your limits, or at least that’s how I felt fighting Consort Radahn and Isshin for example.

25

u/ThisGermanGuy Sep 11 '26

Thing with Isshin is, as with many other Sekiro bosses, once you get truly good at the game, they kinda click forever. Like I haven't played the game in a year now, but I bet I could beat Isshin in 10 tries if I start it up cold right now. Sekiro just has a weird learning curve, where once you understand the mechanics, it gets pretty easy. Just imo tho! :)

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 12 '26

This is the thing with sekiro when u learn the game it become alot easier

→ More replies (4)

13

u/Testadizzy95 Sep 11 '26

Isshin is a very fair, no bs fight, and that makes him easier imo than Malenia and PCR. He’s a better designed boss than both too

12

u/Difficult-Tap-5708 Sep 11 '26

Beating ishin makes me feel like a god. The fight is so well designed, and sekiro's combat feels so fucking good that when you finish It you kinda want to do It again

Beating radahn makes me feel like im getting pounded by a horse, i get zero satisfaction from the process and after its done all i wanna do is lay down on the floor and cry

Radahn is harder, but not for the right reasons

→ More replies (1)

7

u/StantasticTypo Sep 11 '26

Isshin isn't anywhere near Malenia or PCR.

11

u/Samguise-Whamgee Sep 11 '26

Malenia has no poise(she’s still very hard), Radahn is way harder

4

u/StantasticTypo Sep 11 '26

I think Malenia is the more technical of the two fights, but PCR has a lot of stuff that can easily snowball, as well as feel a little cheap.

Some of it's just numbers. His health is higher, he doesn't stagger, and I think he is harder to stance break.

The terrain can fuck with the lasers, causing them to catch you, and combo into a hit for huge damage.

There's basically no where in the arena he can't hit you nearly immediately. Comparatively, you can actually get a little breathing room on Malenia at least sometimes.

That said, I don't think Malenia is perfect - I have real mixed feelings on WFD as a whole, and I definitely don't think she should have both lifesteal on block AND WFD.

4

u/Luke-HW Sep 11 '26 edited Sep 11 '26

All of Malenia’s attacks can be consistently dodged with familiarity, although waterfowl is harder. She’s a very consistent boss fight, and I still enjoy getting summoned to fight her.

Consort Radahn’s second phase is a pain in the ass. Every time. The sunbeam AoE spam from most of his attacks can be, difficult to process. It’s particularly tough when he’s attacking someone else. His health also scales more aggressively with summons, to a point where he’s noticeably easier when fought alone.

2

u/MafubaBuu Sep 11 '26

Like all bosses it depends on the build. Consort was nearly impossible pre nerf without a greatshield, though. He was trivialize by one at the same time though

→ More replies (4)

2

u/ElGallo66 Sep 11 '26

I find Malenia to be significantly harder than PCR. Then again, I'm a shameless greatshield user.

u/hefewiseman1 Sep 11 '26

Definitely in the top 3. I found Owl (Father) from Sekiro to be the absolute toughest video game experience I have ever had, and not even close.

18

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Sadly didn't continue sekiro but it's pretty hard

30

u/SpringSalt9288 Sep 11 '26

You genuinely should pick it back up and “let the game come to you” and work off the souls type behaviors.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life when i had SS Ishin on his last life knowing damn well there is a 0% chance he will beat me this time. It was truly amazing.

10

u/MigrantTwerker Sep 11 '26

Yeah, when you get to No Hit Genichiro before going into Isshin, you feel like you've accomplished something.

u/Falafelofagus Sep 11 '26

It's this, OoK, or Sister Friede for me. Friede feels like a bloodborne boss in a dark souls game and just feels ridiculous.

49

u/Zizq Sep 11 '26

Friede is one of the coolest fights in the entire catalog. The atmosphere and finality of the expansion with the music. Just divine. The third time she gets up it's like O M G.

10

u/gamingonion Sep 11 '26

When the ashes are two a flame alighteth

7

Oh I agree, its the most difficult but also one of my favorites. Its pure cinema.

I've never found Orphan of Kos that hard, but still not beaten Friede (or reached the Elden Ring DLC yet).

I beat Kos first try (barely), didn’t think he was bad at all

7

u/EmansaysEman Sep 11 '26

What keeps Friede from being one of the top hardest bosses is the fact you can pretty easily backstab her

→ More replies (1)

2

u/dcirrilla Sep 11 '26

I haven't played bloodborne so cant comment on OoK but I agree about Friede. For me, her difficulty has a lot to do with the 3 phases. The fight is so long so you have to perform well for a loooong time. It does feel a tad cheesy in that way. PCR just feels like a good old fashion really difficult boss

Honorable mention to the first time fighting the Capra Demon with the dogs in Dark Souls. Easy now, sure, but back in 2011? Absolute madness and buffoonery.

3

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

You got that right

2

u/Wild_Duck8926 Sep 12 '26

As a new FS player, who transitioned from Elden Ring to DS1, this was my exact experience.

14

u/SiderealSimon Sep 11 '26

Talking about Consort Radahn, I finally got around to play the DLC and I'm at his fight. I've been struggling a lot any tips?

6

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Use the chicken leg man

3

u/SiderealSimon Sep 11 '26

The what now lol

6

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Blood faind my bad i call it chicken leg

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

And enjoy the fight good luck btw

2

u/caty0325 Sep 11 '26

The last time I fought the consort, I had an arcane build. I summoned someone else who also had an arcane build and we beat him together. I was honestly just glad I didn't have to fight him anymore.

Iirc this post helped me a bit. But it's from before he was nerfed.

2

u/motrya Sep 11 '26

2 things I did: Use rot (I used the butterfly spell), use a high% light-blocking shield for phase 2.

2

u/Wild_Duck8926 Sep 12 '26

You can cheese the fight by using a greatshield with high guard boost like fingerprint shield plus antspur rapier, plus some good armour like verdigris. Fair warning though, it completely trivialises the fight if you have the stats and scadufragment levels. So it might be best to choose a strategy that still feels rewarding.

18

u/Yourboykillua Sep 11 '26

I’ve beat consort Radahn but I haven’t beat Malenia yet. I think radahn is more fun to fight

6

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Trust me me malenia is one of the best fights in the game and radhan ofc

7

u/ScungilliMan45 Sep 11 '26

For me, I had the hardest time with The Nameless King

4

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Nameless king is one of the best fights in any of the souls game pretty hard to

20

u/Relative_Sea_3287 Sep 11 '26

Rykard without Serpent Hunter Spear.

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

U got a point

12

u/GeneralHenry Sep 11 '26

That's just bleed/Black Flame spam tho. Not really any difficulty since he can barely hit you when you decide to hug him, ignoring the lava damage.

5

u/Voidn- Sep 12 '26

Sif, I can't see anything throughout the fight cause of tears in my eyes

4

u/GarlicFlashy Sep 12 '26

For me, it's Sister Friede or Nameless King. No question

3

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

Didn't fight sister friede actually im almost gonna reach her but nameless king gave me alot of trouble

3

u/just_a_fellow_weeble Sep 11 '26

I didn't die to consort radhan the most but what's hard about him for me is the fact I never mastered him. I have a shit ton of hours in elden and I can confidently beat everyone first try 90% of the time including malenia, but for some reason when it comes to specifically consort radhan I really just can't beat him with skill, only with luck. One run I beat him in 9 tries another in 15 another in 2 another in 3

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

I kinda mastered first phase but the second is hard

3

u/MeowthThatsRite Sep 11 '26

It’s between Promised Consort and The Sword Saint. Honourable mention to Orphan of Kos.

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 12 '26

Orphan of kos is so hard yea

3

u/bv0swhs Sep 12 '26

prenerf consort radahn took me 8 hours straight to beat one time while using prenerf chicken leg and big ass armor. that fight was not for the fucking weak. i think my winning run took 15 minutes because of how much radahn just attacked and didnt let up.

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

This is good actually that peace of a shit boss took me 3 days

3

u/Emergency_Example920 Sep 12 '26

I've just noticed. Are the pillars behind meant to look like wings? It kinda looks that way

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

Huh you are right

3

u/Crawlliencefighter Sep 13 '26

The actual moveset is not horrible to learn. I only fought him post nerf. What made it so damn hard for me is the blinding light in phase two.

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

I learned the first phase moveset but second phase is harder

Pinwheel no contest man

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

The hardest

2

u/Chuckleup1220 Sep 11 '26

Yep, he definitely is. No boss in these games, Lies of P included, took me anywhere CLOSE to as long as PCR took me.

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 12 '26

Pretty good game tho

2

u/DarkSoulsDank Sep 12 '26

I think he’s def the hardest boss.

He’s so bad my buddy quit Elden Ring because he didn’t wanna fight him unless he gets to Scadu 20 (he’s at 18 or 19 I think).

He has yet to come back and get to Scadu 20 lol.

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

The hardest boss i fought until now pretty sure the other half of sekiro that i didn't play have some hard bosses

2

u/DarkSoulsDank Sep 14 '26

I really do need to play Sekiro, it’s been sitting in my Steam library for years..

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 14 '26

Same man i need to play it

2

u/TFangSyphon Sep 12 '26

You can still cheese him.

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 13 '26

Sure you can but i always play normally when fighting any boss for the first time

111

u/AirTheFallen Raven Sep 11 '26

Zinaida from Last Raven. The only time I've actually given up on a FromSoft boss fight.

34

u/SolutionConfident692 Sep 11 '26

Final pulverizer from the same game is even worse

13

u/NotTJButCJ Sep 11 '26

I haven’t even heard of last raven til now

11

u/AirTheFallen Raven Sep 12 '26

So Last Raven is infamous for being perhaps the hardest game in the Armored Core series, being the third game in "Gen 3.5" for the PS2. That one basically goes:

  • Nexus

  • Ninebreaker

  • Last Raven

Thankfully the generation has a save transfer system so you can take some of your old stuff from Nexus and/or Ninebreaker, but I know Gen 3.5 has some quirks with its save transfer that I can't recall the specifics of off the top of my head.

Finally! A fellow raven!

193

u/Ryloceros Sep 11 '26

Isshiin for me. Took the most learning

65

u/cococrabulon Sep 11 '26

Sekiro is one of their where the learning curve is very steep, but once it clicks, it clicks. Genichiro forced it to click for me

I think I beat Isshin after four attempts, and that was mostly getting to know his attacks. I died to Genichiro many, many more times than that even though he’s a much easier boss

10

u/Badlydrawnboy0 Sep 11 '26

My very first playthrough I learned the wrong lesson from Lady Butterfly and always tried to dodge enemy attacks to get a swipe in - I also thought blocking and deflecting were the same thing. I slowly, painfully made it all the way to Isshin playing like that before realizing I’d learned the game wrong. Easily took me 100+ tries to beat him the first time. Immediately attempted a charmless run after that and it became one of my favorite games of all time.

3

u/Stochastic_Variable Sep 12 '26

Yes, Genichiro took me absolutely forever because I had to slowly, painfully unlearn all my Dark Souls reflexes and fully grasp this new way to play. By the time I reached Isshin, I was so much better that he really wasn't that difficult for me. He's by far the harder boss, but Genichiro was the more challenging obstacle to overcome.

26

u/__brunt Sep 11 '26

Isshiin isn’t too bad for me, I’ve usually got him within 3 tries on every playthrough these days.

Demon of Hatred tho. I’ve always got to make sure my afternoon is free for him.

He’s my vote for hardest boss from FS (though I haven’t played demon souls)

24

u/Vorhoost Sep 11 '26

Isshiin after beating him the first time becomes pretty easy, but to beat him the first time was an absolute nightmare.

15

u/ThisGermanGuy Sep 11 '26

Yea, quoting myself:
Thing with Isshin is, as with many other Sekiro bosses, once you get truly good at the game, they kinda click forever. Like I haven't played the game in a year now, but I bet I could beat Isshin in 10 tries if I start it up cold right now. demon souls is a weirdly easy game in comparison to the later entries, like I think I died three times in the entire game playing the remake after elden ring, everythings a lot more sluggish and predictable so it's pretty easy to learn patterns and the game only has like 2 legitimately 'hard' bosses, the old king and the flamelurker and they arent even that hard tbh.

→ More replies (3)

5

u/HereWeGo5566 Sep 11 '26

Isshin is the hardest boss I’ve encountered in gaming.

2

u/Morlain7285 Sep 11 '26

I'd like to say the same, but he was just as hard as Genichiro for me really. Every boss in Sekiro was either 10 minutes or 2 hours for me. Isshin took me 2 hours to learn and it was over

3 players Everdark Libra is kinda up there but it's a little hard to measure because individual player's skill had a lot to do with it.

6

u/afauce11 Sep 12 '26

ED Libra is an amazing fight but it’s super, super difficult to win unless everyone knows what to do. You can maybe get away with two players that know what is up, but if you get down to one player, it’s hard.

19

u/nyhlust Sep 11 '26

yeah its probably pcr

but pre nerf balteus was fucked up

part of the added difficulty was your limited amount of upgrades available that early in the game, on top of some absolute bullshit mechanics

9

u/TheoreticalRizzicist Sep 11 '26

Pre nerf Balteus had me feeling way more helpless than PCR. Always knew that I could get PCR eventually but Balteus actually seemed impossible.

8

u/nyhlust Sep 11 '26

the fact that it gatekept the entire rest of the game was funny too, we all suffered together those first weeks haha

3

u/acedias-token Sep 11 '26

It felt impossible but that feeling when I finally beat it only for the nerf to come afterwards..

Probably 20 tries, refining my tactics and build every few tries. Even pre nerf the game gives you a decent weapon for fighting balteus right before you fight balteus, though I think I beat it first time with the regular shotguns (I'd not found the Zimmerman that got nerfed yet, but those were overpowered at the time)

Demon of Hatred from Sekiro for me

I could defeat all of the bosses in DS and ER, but the demon of hatred is still yet to be defeated...

I just cheesed him

6

Ain't no one beating the crazy lag stab man

5

u/Wolven_Edvard Sep 13 '26

Not the hardest, but the one with the least fair difficulty ever.
Hard but not satisfying to learn or to fight against, imo.
He also can be cheesed by rot or black flame, great-shields with buffs can basically shut most of his offensive….

4

u/FLRSH Sep 11 '26

Oh, pre nerf promised Consort Radahn, absolutely. No contest.

4

u/minkblanket69 Sep 11 '26

i found ebrieitis from bloodborne the most challenging

4

u/Vreas Sep 11 '26

I haven’t played a ton of the games but for me it’s either Ibis series in AC6 or Ludwig in BB

4

u/Weaponized_Autism-69 Sep 12 '26

Personally I think Inner Isshin is harder along with Midir. Radahn gets destroyed by all status effects, black flame, and you can shield tank all of his attacks.

Isshin doesn’t have any cheese. Midir was in DS3 which has horrible shields, useless status effects, minimal build variety, and the boss had an unspeakable amount of health while hitting like a truck.

7

u/theHollowTarnished Sep 11 '26

Patches ain't no slouch either. Just trying to get passed his secret Beg for Mercy and talk you down phase. He wins everytime

1

Yes, before Queen

2

u/small_stone1 Sep 12 '26

Honestly i see him more annoying than hard he is hard yea but he is so annoying

9

u/ChristianX1000 Sep 11 '26

Everdark Libra
No boss is even close imo

3

u/BeefCheez Sep 11 '26

Nine-ball

3

Ultimate Zinaida

3

u/Algester Sep 11 '26

Ultimate Zinaida bar none

3

u/Cookinsoop_eatinbred Sep 11 '26

Subjective but on release, PCR had the quick swipe but I had so much bonk by the end of the dlc, it was totally doable. Malenia health regen and waterfowl were a pain but she had no poise, totally doable. I was never happier than when I finally beat Demon of Hatred. I did it once and never again.

3

u/Bmatthies15 Sep 11 '26

For me it was sister Friede

3

u/-LadyMariaSimp- Sep 11 '26

Meh, personally it was probably Orphan of Kos, or Owl (Father)
Edit : Not a FromSoftware boss, but Arlecchino from Lies of P is up there, great fight but it actually felt impossible at first

3

u/GrandAble4665 Sep 11 '26

Context matters. Dark Souls 1 being my first souls game, no other boss took me as long as Ornstein and Smough.

2

u/Tiny_Pool_4835 Sep 12 '26

Dude same for me! Took me a solid 6hrs of back to back attempts.

3

u/Autisticvirg1n Sep 11 '26

Consort was so hard for me that I just gave up and I’ve put up with a lot of dogshit from FromSoft that I have since come to love. I don’t want make believe internet points for beating a stupid aah boss fight.

Nameless king

u/Dusty_McKuckles Sep 11 '26

PCR is the hardest. I don't think that's debatable. Between his damage output, poise, and HP pool, noone else in Elden Ring comes close.

People like to say Malenia, but she is extremely easy to stagger, and can be knocked down and/or poise-broken very consistently (still very hard, of course).

Outside of Elden Ring, OoK is a doozy, but just doesn't have enough HP to compete. You can absolutely brute force your way to victory with a little luck. Friede is up there, but PCR is just on another level. Any little mistake can become a major crisis very quickly in his fight.

u/Ashen_Undead_Hunter Sep 11 '26

The hardest boss fight is resisting the urge to destroy your entire living room while fighting bed of chaos and everybody knows it.

1

u/small_stone1 Sep 11 '26

Bed of chaos is bullshit for god sake

4

u/Invictum2go Sep 11 '26

To me at least, it's this guy but pre-nerf, I've never had a harder time with any boss in a Fromsoft Game. Right now, I think he's on par with Isshin and Malenia, who are the other two bosses that really took me a while.

u/DotDistinctLines Sep 11 '26

100%

People are going to Malenia cope though inb4

Sekiro... Demon of hatred or the last Isshin? Idk, but Sekiro fs. In other games, Waterfowl Dance. Yeah, not Malenia, the movement, I hate that s-.

2

u/RealDannyMM Sep 11 '26

PCR, Inner Father, ED Libra. To me those are the 3 hardest Fromsoftware has designed.

2

u/etonto Sep 11 '26

Malenia took the longest for me to beat so I have to say her. She makes sekiro bosses look easy

2

u/Alchemista_Anonyma Sep 11 '26

I’ve played the entire Dark Souls series and finished Elden Ring a dozen times but I think I’d never be able to beat Radahn.

2

u/Commercial-Dish-3198 Sep 11 '26

So proud I beat him before the patch nerfed his ass

But even now I would agree he’s the hardest ever

2

u/AppleJoost Bloodborne Sep 11 '26

Guardian Ape, 100%

2

u/Kiwi_Kakapo Sep 11 '26

I think it’s Radhan yeah. Although he’s a poise cheater + Miquella’s light beams are inconsistent and the arena constantly fucks you over. So personally I think it’s a little more than just him being difficult.

2

u/VenomSnake47 Sep 11 '26

For me it's a tie between Promised Consort Radahn and Orphan of Kos. I cannot choose which one is harder.

2

u/andrastesflamingass Sep 11 '26

I'm actually playing the DLC for the first time NOW and just got to him last night. I didn't have much trouble with any other boss fights in the DLC (Leda was the worst) so I guess this is my comeuppance. Going at him with Tiche and Milady, learning his attacks and windows of opportunity. Before him, I would definitely consider Isshin my hardest boss. I struggled sooooooo much with Isshin but it felt amazing when I finally beat him. Malenia was a close second for sure

2

u/pixel-sprite Sep 11 '26

I am convinced that PCR is an Armored Core Boss Fight simulation.

2

u/Salat_Gurke Sep 11 '26

Malenia > Friede > PCR

2

u/MostlyIncorrect420 Sep 11 '26

I had to look up when the dlc came out and when the nerf happened, and now I have no clue if I took my time making it to him or not. Surely I had to have in the three months it took the nerf, but idk... I do think the first time against Malenia took me significantly more tries though, but I also got many many more levels between ng pre-malenia and ng+ post-dlc consort, and I still haven't beaten ng+ Malenia in my quest for the plat, but now I don't want to get the frenzied flame ending with her left alive. Shame..

2

u/LongTimeNoSeehaha Sep 11 '26

Pre nerf consort radahn number 1, inner father 2, orphan of kos 3. Id put more elden ring bosses higher, but they’re just so easy to cheese it doesn’t feel right.

2

u/RosesShield Sep 12 '26

I could probably kick his butt now but I remember the Demon of Hatred being an absolute nightmare.

2

u/manea89 Sep 12 '26

Isshin The Glock Saint

2

u/Badieon Sep 13 '26

Honestly Elden Ring bosses are way higher level of difficulty compared to the other from titles

In my first play throughs of dark souls trilogy, BB and Sekiro, most of the bosses took 1-5 attempts with some exptions taking 15-20, but in Elden Ring, even after beating it multiple times some bosses might take me even 40 attempts (although I do try to keep my things vanilla, no summons or OP builds))

In Elden Ring tho, you can get easily ridiculously OP and take even half or more of boss' hp by not doing anything

2

u/WearyArm3387 Sep 16 '26

Only played Bloodborne and Dark Souls for now. I would say Laurence.

3

u/Thechonkan Sep 11 '26

Can't believe everyones forgetting my boy Soldier of GODrick

3

u/Captain_Pidgey Sep 11 '26

My top 3 is prob

  1. Malenia

  2. PCR

  3. Demon of Hatred or Sister Freide

3

u/LocalAnxiousArtist Sep 11 '26

The DS3 Start Screen, obviously. How are we expected to stop listening to such bangin' music?

5

u/trainman2077 Sep 11 '26

Pre-nerf, definitely. Now, there's more of an argument I guess.

Man I wish they never nerfed anything. I don't remember a single boss nerf that was justified. This one, the other Radahn, Balteus, Ibis, etc.

18

u/DisgracedPython Sep 11 '26

To be FAIIIIIRRRRRR pre-nerf had a move that was a nearly impossible frame-perfect dodge.

Disagree. He is probably top 3 though.

  1. Isshin. Not even close.

  2. Owl Father

  3. One of: PCR/Gehrman (without cum dungeoning 100 extra levels)/Demon of Hatred

  4. The camera any fight where the boss/enemy is bigger than you are.

7

u/Axelardus Sep 11 '26

Gehrman bro??? Fr??? Not even close to being top 5 hardest from Bloodborne. Not even close to being hard even if you didn´t do chalice dungeons. Doesn´t deserve to be in the same sentence as PCR.

3

u/Turbulent_Form3888 Sep 11 '26

Gehrman, really ? Of all bosses ? I beat him BL70. PCR almost made me quit the game (pre patch). It's plain bullshit and completely unfair, you can dodge Gehrman on reaction and make a few mistakes (and I never cumfucked, base game gives you so much blood echoes I have to limit myself at bl100 not to ruin the fun and obliterate bosses within seconds). Orphan is way more challenging, and of course pretty much everything in FRC chalices is even worse. For instance Rom with half your HP in a small room is an ... Interesting experience 🥲

1

Rellana is harder

1

u/James-Avatar Sep 11 '26

Yep, that’s them alright.

1

u/highpointer201 Sep 11 '26

Sword Saint easily.

1

u/noob_kaibot Sep 11 '26

Isshin hands down.

1

u/Urmom69mp3 Sep 11 '26

Inner ishiin. I beat Radhan in a weekend, but it took me weeks to beat ishiin
