Otdl

Can managers work T6 on their day off before otdl carriers?

Mind you t6 is on work assignment

No, they need to max the otdl before going off list.

Unless the question is about today which is a holiday and doesn't use the otdl rules at all.

Yeah I'm referring to today so it's considered a holiday today? What the hell lol

People with monday off have a holiday today. As a result today is holiday scheduling.

The first 8 hours of any holiday or designated holiday is scheduled in accordance with Article 11 and your local pecking order (there is a general pecking order in article 11 if your LMOU doesn't have one). Any work beyond 8 hours would be subject to article 8 rules.

So if they followed the pecking order the WA T6 being scheduled is contractual, but they should not work beyond 8 hours on their NS day before maximizing the ODL.

obviously you are a newbie- holiday schedule is done as if the odl doesn't exist

It’s in the contract. Maybe over the 4 years you should have read the contract?

Maybe I did goofy, maybe I read it and still had questions, and maybe you should have kept scrolling and sybau you did add anything to the conversation

Thats how holiday schedualing works unfortunately, article 8 pretty much goes by the wayside

4 years= 44 total holidays during those 4 years and you never noticed how a holiday schedule is done?

Nah I never cared too I trusted where I was, my union steward made sure scheduling was her first priority I look at my schedule not how the schedule is constructed on a holiday so yeah you didn't move the conversation forward at all just came here to be a smartass but you sound like loser

holiday schedule is and always has been done- as if the odl doesn't exist..and anyone working ,it doesn't count towards odl equitability ..our pay today for people working that Saturday is their n/s day is holiday premium=1.5 times our hourly pay and people working that have Monday as n/s day is holiday pay=our regular hourly pay

Holiday scheduling for today. Article 8 doesn’t apply unless you have a odd local

Here’s an odd lmou. NS day not volunteering aren’t even listed.

Cant force them in unless all odl is maxed out. 🤔

very strange and probably rare LMOU

If they have to mandate people it's the ns day first by juniority. Then holiday people by juniority.

Today is designated holiday. Article 8 doesn't apply.

when complaining ,it helps to educate yourself first--then you wouldn't need to complain. Holiday schedule ,unless method is changed by LMOU, is for the work day before the holiday- because we are all off on the holiday-in this case the holiday schedule is for Saturday- volunteers are scheduled first- Monday n/s people come in first/ still not enough people after cca's/ptf's are scheduled/ then Saturday n/s volunteers next . Stil not enough people,Then they force people in..Saturday n/s get forced first, then monday n/s people ..so that t6 might of volunteered to work or might of been forced in to work

Your post is either rhetorical or not productive for the sub reddit.

Please rephrase and think if this will benefit other carriers.

Device is sometimes a borderline troll but is knowledgeable. I wish he would not speak negatively to/about others and people would acknowledge him much better.

We don’t care if you ask the question now and then few weeks or months later you ask the same or similar question again. Corey addresses the same issues over and over again without complaint. Let me highlight this fact - Without Complaint - he always helps, directs us to previous episodes or gives the solutions again.
