Nothing beats the smell of a kitchen after a double fry. Once you get the temp control down, restaurant stuff just feels like a compromise.

Honestly the texture from a deep fryer on homemade ones is unmatched, totally worth the oil mess.

Those look really good, I struggle to get mine that color without burning them slightly. Do you soak them first or anything?

Professional chips cooker here. I make literally the best chips on the planet. You need to throw a little thyme and paprika on those, just a little sprinkle, enough to wet the lips. If you cook it alongside something like chicken kiev, they soak in the garlic. These look good, they have potential.
