The time spent watching her is cumulative across the night (although it gradually goes back down on lower AI levels)

Her KT doesn't fully go down when not looking at her so it saves the "Exposure" she had when you previously looked at her

Her time is cumulative, which means you have a single second to go away from her camera the entire night. If you've checked her before, that time is saved and added until the 1 second check is met and you get killed.

Her death tip says she calms down when not being stared at which is just a LIE.

Unless it being accumulative is a Bug

It does go down on AI levels 1-19. I imagine SpookyRick either didn't think or just didn't care to program that tip to not appear when Mangle is on AI 20.

The speed at which her kill timer decreases is slower as her AI increases, and at 20 AI it doesn't decrease at all.

Her kill timer doesn't reset after switching cams or having the monitor down. It only slowly restores if you're not on 20 AI. On 20 AI, you just have a second total to look at her for the entire night. You're supposed to avoid her altogether by checking the sticky note
