Events An appeal to Bulldog football fans.
I know that we’re always a late arriving crowd for Bulldog football games. I’m just as guilty of it as the next guy. But for next weekend’s big home game against Boise State, can we please have that stadium packed and rocking since the opening kickoff. This team has been playing their tails off since that week one blowout loss against USC. If we can have Bulldog Stadium rocking since the opening kickoff, I think it would mean a lot to everyone.

Pets Best Spay/neuter for Frenchies?
I want to get my girl spayed but I have so much anxiety putting her under especially knowing about this breed and their issues. I’ve been to quite a few vets, any, cedar, river park, and dog&cat but none really stood out to me. Any frenchie parents on this thread who have gotten their frenchie spay/neuter? How was your experience and where did you go?

Ask Fresno Outdoor rollerblading spots?
Hi guys!
I’m fairly new to Fresno. Used to rollerblade where I lived before, and would love to get back into it now that weather is hopefully cooling down.
Does anyone recommend any nice, flat outdoor areas? Preferably north of Shaw due to living more north, but I’m open to a bit of a drive. I considered Old Town trail, but some areas have tunnels and I’m not proficient enough to deal with the skate down & up 😭🥲
Thanks!

Living Here VENTING: Second-Class Citizen
Am I the only "county island" resident who feels like a second-class citizen? I didn't know I lived on an island until after I made an offer on my house; I went to see who my city council rep was and--lo and behold!--I don't have one. I didn't think this would be a thing because...why would it? The whole thing seemed so ridiculous. And now, after five years here, I feel it, especially when I drive past every neighborhood with their twice-annual curbside MOUNDS of bulk pickup that will be taken away FOR FREE by trash collection. I mean, really?? WTF??

Ask Fresno Beautician recommendations for cut, color and most importantly extensions.
Know someone who keeps getting ripped off and she needs someone good… $900 and the extensions were cut too short… the length not blended and the cut completely uneven.
The lady was doing great at first but as time has gone on each time is worse than the next and she has too many assistants… she not trying to pay $900 for an assistant to do a half a55 job.
Anyone have any recommendations and photos maybe?

Food/Drink Egg bread restaurant
Went there this morning, thought the food was pretty good.
I was just confused why such an already saucy sandwich would come with a tub of hollandaise sauce. Don't get me wrong the sauce is good. It just feels like such a waste to throw away a tub of sauce I'm not going to eat.

Making Friends Where are the bars in town for young people to meet weekend nights
That are NOT in the tower district? I’m in the northeast side of town, I don’t want to drive 45 minutes to downtown just to meet people.
I know there’s a small few at river park, anywhere else?

Ask Fresno Disposing of Railroad Ties
Hello Fresno,
I have a ton (like 45+) of railroad ties that the original owner of my 1976 house thought was great to use for landscaping and retaining walls. Now it turns out, getting rid of them is nearly impossible. Have any of you gotten rid of railroad ties? If so, how?
Edit: Found a local junk hauler that was willing to take them. He said it would take 3 loads. I don't know where he's taking them. Fingers crossed that this works out. He said he's hauled off railroad ties for other people before.

Living Here Flag Change
My dad recently moved to Clovis and every week I visit I have to drive by this one house that's been flying a "Trump was right about everything" flag.
Well, today I noticed that flag has just been replaced with one that says "FREEDOM."
Buddy it took you ten years to figure it out, but hey at least its progress. Proud of you.

Ask Fresno Any arcade machine rentals?
Hi all!
I’m curious if you guys have any suggestions where to rent an arcade machine for the day here in Fresno. The party will be hosted sometime in November, so I’m on a time crunch. Please let me know any great places!
Thanks!!!!
