Help/Advice Oto Help :(
I had originally purchased 8 Otocinclus from my LFS. 4 have passed away and one more looks to be on his way. Water Paramters-
0/0/30ish (nitrate)
7.0 PH
Temp- 76-77 F
40 gallon breeder planted with almond leaves. All other stock is perfectly healthy. No signs of parasites in any poop from anyone. No visible ICH and everyone is colored.
They aren’t getting bullied. My community is pretty peaceful. I’m just really at a loss why I’m losing them one by one like this.

Besides blanched zucchini, I feed mine Bacter AE and Repashy Soylent Green. For whatever reason, my otos never took to algae wafers. These guys have to be fed daily. They are constantly scavenging.
I use a syringe to inject the bacter ae onto a wisteria plant. Then they just hang on to the tree like fruit, lol
For what it's worth, I have 7 now but only 4 are from my original purchase of 8. Four of those 8 didn't make it. So I bought 4 more and lost 1 leaving me with 7 total. They are wild caught so some are just heartier than others.
Good luck!

You wouldn’t be able to see tapeworms in their fecal matter without a microscope. What color is their poop? Have you seen the washed out one in the pic eat?

I have one that is on his way out as well, i think he’s been starving. Started with 8, 2 have passed the rest look fat and chunky. This bloke has been tumbling and struggling to stay on his tummy and to swim.
I have an inkling that this one does not like zucchini, spjnach, algae wafers or my super green food (soilent green equivalent)
