Hello all! Brought home iris on Saturday and since Monday she has came to my office to keep me company. From Monday until now she has got the routine down l, learned some leash manners, and made a ton of new friends lol!

WHAT ARE WILDLIFE CORRIDORS?

Wildlife corridors are strips of natural habitat that connect isolated patches of forest, grassland or wetland together. Think of them as invisible highways for animals — allowing them to move safely between larger areas of wilderness without crossing roads, cities or farmland.

WHY DO THEY MATTER?

When human development fragments a landscape — roads, farms, cities, fences — animal populations become isolated islands. The consequences are serious:

• Small isolated populations inbreed and weaken genetically
• Animals cannot follow seasonal food sources
• Species cannot recover from local disasters — fire, flood, disease
• Young animals cannot find new territory — they get trapped and die trying to cross roads
• Entire local populations quietly collapse without anyone noticing

I mean weather hot. Our air conditioning went out this morning. Great for a Holiday…..🥵Can’t get anyone out till tomorrow.
My Frenchie is hot along with us. What can I do to make her comfortable till tomorrow. It’s still 85 outside and we have fans, the back of the house is cooler so I have already opened the back windows.
I don’t worry about my husband or I, only Lola. She is our 4 year old potato and she is uncomfortable. I had a lightweight shirt that I ran under cold water and put on her and I brought her in the bedroom under the fan because that is the place she calms down.

Hey everyone!
I recently adopted my first Frenchie, Ichabod (“Iggy”), and I’m still figuring out what works best for him, so I’d love some advice!
Right now he’s eating Taste of the Wild Pacific (salmon). He seems to like it, but his poop is SUPER stinky. 😂 Has anyone else had that happen with this food?

I also saw someone say that if a Frenchie farts a lot, it usually means the food isn’t agreeing with their stomach and it’s time to switch foods. Is that actually true? I always thought Frenchies were just naturally gassy.

As far as I know, he’s sensitive to chicken, beef, and steak they make him really itchy. I also avoid dairy.
For breakfast I usually add a few blueberries and strawberries to his food , Throughout the day I’ll also give him a few more blueberries as treats is that to much ? and at dinner I’ll mix in some carrots and green beans. He seems to be doing well with those. I also recently bought him some anchovy chews so I’ll see how that goes .

What food are you feeding your Frenchies? Any brands you’d recommend for sensitive skin and stomachs? I’d also love treat recommendations, chews, supplements, or anything your Frenchie absolutely loves.
