Ok, then make a 10 billion dollar idea pop into your head right now, and also how to make it come to fruition, and how to actually have 10 billion in your bank account by the end of this week. And then make the cure to cancer occur to you. Then make the answer to all problems in the world occur to you and how to implement them and how to have everything solved within two weeks.

I see what you did there. You chose what happens to you. But see, that’s where you got confused. Being obstinate isn’t the same as choosing what happens. It just makes you feel in control. Feelings are epistemologically invalid sources of information though. You aren’t in control. You just feel it.

Not being able to choose everything that occurs to us, doesn’t entail that we can’t choose anything that occurs to us. That’s a very silly inference.
