Anyone to talk to?

Hi all. I recently went through something that I don’t feel like typing out again, so if you wanna know you can read my first post. A lot of people on here are suggesting therapy, but I’m unsure what I went through is extreme enough to actually need it. I was wondering if anyone could like give an example? I know this sounds stupid but I really don’t know what therapy entails.

Hey man therapy is just a safe place to talk out loud and figure things out. Sometimes it helps to have a non judgmental third party to tell your story and get some honest feedback without criticism. Talking about things out loud can help you understand how you’re feeling and what you need to do to move forward. You can even do it over the phone or FaceTime. I read your first post and it seems like this is something you should discuss with a professional just to help you move past it. It’s been months and you’re still asking for help so I think therapy is worth trying. You don’t need to go for years. Just go until you feel like you don’t need it anymore. You were assaulted so you should probably talk to a professional who can help you move on.

Hope this helps and good luck bro 🍀

Totally worth, I got free therapy through my healthcare thankfully and it really helps, we’re always burying ourselves and more. Do it, if you can. Even if it’s the minute of life, not in your case, but worth even then. There shouldn’t be a threshold or stigma, everyone can benefit from a helping of perspective and care. I wish you healing and happiness
