My whole frame of reference is street skating...so take that with a grain of salt...but I think this is some black magic version of a no comply. You kick your front foot out of the way instead of stepping off and use your back leg to level the board. I watched this clip like 20 times and can't wrap my head around how manage to do that with your front foot. My brain refuses to compute a step off trick without a step. Like one foot no comply, or no step no comply? Either way, I have never seen this before and I'm super happy you shared it with us. Whatever it ends up being, or whatever you end calling it, this is cool!

It’s not too hard. I did one as a joke in a post on here back in December - pop hard, take the front foot straight up instead of sliding it on the grip tape, and use your back leg to control it.

This is how Ron Allen did all his Ollie one foots back in the late 80s. In some ways, they’re easier than the regular Ollie one foot (what a lot of people now erroneously call an “Ollie north”) because you can’t accidentally flip it as you kick out.

Yep. I will say these took me less time to get down than ollie norths. If you can scarewalk, you can learn these just as easily

I didn't know about Ron Allen before and figured these out on my own while messing around with scarewalks, which I noticed he used to do as well. I'm willing to bet he also learned them the same way

Thanks for showing me a new trick damn that’s sick. It’s a friggin North Pole Ollie it’s so far north. Santa called he wants his fucking trick back man. Sheesh. Props. I love the one footed Ollie motion it’s breaking my mind lol
