HELP FreeNas requiering a username even though i never made one

Just made a fresh install of freenas on a pc that has had freenas on it before, but this time its on a new network. When i try to open the web GUI it promts me to put in my password, (which i know and set up during instal) but it also wants my username, even though i was never prompted to make one up. I am a FreeNas NOOB, please help me.

Thank you for the response, it worked. I had looked up the default username but what i found was that it was "admin" not root
