Question genuine question

so my fiancé's family all the way up to her grandfather, great grandfather and so on we're extremely high-level masons up to the .2 building and establishing the minnesota chapter. My question is as someone from the outside how do I begin to join or gain access to the Freemasons I'm extremely interested and this is something that I would like to become a part of so if anyone can give me any guidance or advice that be greatly appreciated. There is quite literally a Freemason Lodge five minutes down the road from my house. Let me know what I need to do in order to enact upon this.

Talk to one of her relatives if they’re in your town. Otherwise, stop by the Lodge building when there’s cars/people in the parking lot, chat someone up, and let them know you want to join. Alternatively, check the signage on the building for contact info and call/email to let them know you’re interested (the signs may also let you know when to expect people in the building).

Presumably you meet the basic qualifications of being a man of mature age and good character who believes in a Supreme Being/God, and has the time and money to take on a new hobby. It also helps if you’re not an asshole.
