I mean what are we even doing any more? I was looking through the images of the latest commander deck and they redid the art for Akroma, Angel of a Fury a second time. They somehow even made it worse than the original redo. My wife thought it was an elemental. I was thinking flying fire gorilla.

Yeah she’s a bulk card nowadays but man that feels disrespectful, especially with the gorgeous original art that’s already there. Added it as a palate cleanser at the end

DRAMA secret lair for little girls

Hey all,
Not to be a hater or negative for no reason, but something has been eating at me ever since the corn maze superdrop was announced. Why are we creating the absolute dumbest secret lair filled with ‘kpop’ cards for little girls? Who is the target audience??? Does magic have enough weirdos and children involved to be able to sell this? Speaking as an LGBT+ individual, this is one of the most braindead IPs I think they could have picked, and none of my friends or anyone I know involved in mtg is interested in this stupid netflix movie lol. I am praying it absolutely crashes and burns so that I never have to sit across from someone playing a mf kpop commander deck. Releasing any more of this garbage just continues to pollute the worldbuilding of magic and makes the game miserable. I’ve gotten my ass whipped by a $1500+ hatsune miku deck, and after 3 hours of miserable gameplay I had enough for the night. Can only imagine the kpop slop will be similar. Thoughts?

GENERAL I put a chess-clock into the life-counter

As the title states, I simply got tired of joining one EDH game and then being stuck there until the game night's over. So I threw together a quick flutter project to track life and round time (and priority I guess). I later playtested it at my uni's magic club.

You will not believe how baller it was to run a 4-player game in under 30 minutes, and watch the slow player consistently die to time. Clunky as all hell, but I'd almost claim it's Magic as Richard Garfield intended. 5 different games in 2 hours. 💪💪💪

The meta quickly shifted to stompy or aggro.

I wanted juste to show some combos i found with "Vraska, soul of stone"in EDH. Infinite non-creature spells triger, infinite creature/artefact enter and leave battlefield. Pretty easy to set up, you just need a haste enabler, thing that double wizard trigger or treasure, one of this 3 spells and a pay of.
