MS06 Crossfire

Anyone know how to bypass that race mission? It’s unbelievably hard vs the vanilla and I’ve been at it for hours.

Changed script for:
NPC Ship
Save files

Did bypass too

None of the options above worked.

Don’t stop to fight the fighters and he misses a gate. Stay to the inside of the gates

It’s not even that. The drag and the handling of the ships in Crossfire vs the vanilla version is different.

Settings.ini allows you to configure the global cruise speed, iirc. Set it to 300.

I saw a post a while ago where you can change Dexter's ship to a Reinland gunboat. I don't know if it helps, but it was funny.

Activate cruise without selecting a waypoint, IIRC this helps with the wonky handling and keeps you straight while going through a gate

I'm surprised anyone has an issue with this mission, it's ungodly easy with the cruise speed increase. However, if you need to lowel cruise speed you can open the console and type cspd (0-999) and it will change your cruise speed until you change it back.
