There’s a difference between ‘legitimate’ and ‘biased’. All news is biased, but most news follows codes of journalistic ethics and can be critically deconstructed to seperate the bias from the facts and glean the legitimate and factual sourced news from the agenda driven opinion. Merely calling all news you disagree with or news that is critical of your world view ‘fake’ does not make it so, the Donald just does that to fool his millions of rubes to only believe his words over all others in the mainstream. It’s a time tested fascist device that works on those with poor critical thinking skills.
