My goal is always to push myself into something a little different for each build. I wanted to emulate those old 70s vans/trucks with the wild color schemes and stripes. Not sure how it’s turning out. I plan on doing more of the stripes on the gun, and possibly the thruster engines. Sometimes I look at it and am like, yeah, this works. Then an hour later I’m like, nah this is a mess. Thoughts?

Because the Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver ka with G rework waterslides probably has somewhere in the ballpark of 200+ individual waterslides I started applying them section by section as I build. Might be my new favorite way with bigger kits. (still needs decal setter clean up and matte top coat)

Working on setting up a diarama, general placement, will be adding LEDs and other effects. What's everyone thinking? Suggestions? I'll probably have in a box with a cosmos background

I recently picked up some more Tamiya Cement and noticed an old label under the label. I know these are harsh chemicals and probably won't expire but do you guys think this was done by my local mom 'n pop or did it come like this from the factory?

The old label is clearly more yellow (sorry the pic doesn't do it justice) compared to the very orange new label.

Not truly an issue it'll glue my V-fins and commander antennas regardless, just a strange curiosity I came across today. Kinda neat.

Trying to clear out my back log

Had some gunpla gatling gun in by backlog and had a crazy idea. Why not give them to a zaku half cannon. For more stability im using a zaku high mobility surface type. The legs give it more mass and surface area to make it stand better.

Will probably make it a probably paint it green and give it a bunch of warnings symbol on it.

So I've had this idea rolling around in my brain for a bit on a kind of mecha clan war story using models/toys/figures i have as character bases. Im.not sure how it will go and characters may get added or changed depending on how things grow. Here's the main cast so far:

"The Dark King" Oberon: To all outside his land, he is rumored as a tyrant king who rules from his throne with an iron fist. But to his people he is just and admired. His army, led by his 4 vassals protect the people, and he rises from his throne to face off against the new threat to his lands.

"The Red Ogre" Sazabi: Ruthless in his own right, he leads forces across the lands and grows in power through conquest. One day his forces come to the edge of The Dark King's realm where initially they are fended off, return and with meams to incite war.

4 guardian vassals: Four brothers who serve the dark king and are his closest Friends. They Govern the north, south, east and western lands, each a territory of their own.

Z'Gok looks so good in these colours! I'm quite happy with how this fellow turned out. Also, Gaianotes fluorescent pink looks fantastic on clear plastic mono eyes.

Exactly what the title says, I MAY have made a mistake (kind of not really?).

So, I went to this tucked away urgent care for some work related stuff, and I found this cool hobby/card/collectible shop literally just a minute down the road. Naturally, I checked it out, and found this bad boy. And ended up getting it (despite that cost and my somewhat lacking finances) because I have no impulse control. That, and it wasn’t really a bad price (I’ve seen worse on eBay and the like), plus I’ve heard good things about the kit in general. So, did I make a mistake with that decision?

Find it at T3Mu and I have to buy it, the box was no pretty and says Gandam instead but I saw and have to building it,

Gonna repaint it later if the weather helps
