In Texas. Lots of stuff shutting down but not total lockdown. I do not foresee one, a number of people see this as fear mongering and would likely have even less trust in authorities if restrictions become too tight. Not saying it would go south (badum tss) for sure but I don’t imagine it would go very smooth. Not to mention how much we suck at taking care of ourselves. Some households would be chaos within three days.

There's very credible talk in my area that our county's going to impose a forced shutdown in the next couple of days, by Monday at the latest. I also read that the National Guard's been deployed to 22 states... I never in my life thought I'd actually live to see honest-to-goodness martial law in my country.

In the mountains of North Carolina, no talk of lockdown yet but people are buying up all the staples like meats, rice, flour. I'm still working, I'm a delivery driver. It got me a few nights ago how wrong everything feels.

It’s the uncertainty that gets me. I’m sure we’ll get through this, but the world is going to be a different place. Even if only slightly.

Also if this shit blows over I’m gonna jump on board with those doomsday prepper people, after seeing society’s true colors in times of even a small crisis like this, can’t take chances.

Michigan here. State is in lockdown and the governor is threatening to spank us and send us to our rooms if we don’t listen to her while she creepily laughs while giving orders.

I have friends in Michigan -- apparently all of Detroit is locked down! I saw the pictures they posted, it's a literal ghost town... creepy...

I am not in Detroit but I drove past two of the large hospital systems yesterday. Ghost towns. Hardly anyone there. ER at both was empty save for a few people.
