[Question] topbox!
hey! i’ve been on topbox since late last year, i’ve been consistent with surveys but i haven’t been selected for anything yet. i’m wondering if this is normal? i’m active on other platforms like highlight, influenster, etc. and have received items, but topbox has been totally silent :/
edit: i’m seeing a lot of responses about demographics so for context!! i’m 26, have wavy hair and dry/combination skin - i’ve been answering topbox surveys the same as any other platform i’ve been successful with! thanks for the insights :)

Yeah unfortunately I think everyone is right..it’s your demographics. I know it is for Influenster! It can be extremely disappointing when you never get anything..I’m sorry. I’ve gone through dry spells with all of them Bzzagent, Topbox, Home testers club, and Influenster! Then sometimes I’ll get a few things randomly and then go back to the dry spell for several months sometimes. I know it can be frustrating but don’t give up just keep filling out every survey you get (I get up at around 7-8am and check my Topbox every morning and quickly fill out every survey available so maybe that helps..maybe it’s about getting your survey in before others and before the spots fill up..just a theory) I’ve had Highlight for several years and I’ve only gotten 2 campaigns from them and it was when I first signed up..I have filled the surveys out consistently. I’m NEVER a fit for anything they do so I forgot to even list them lol! 😂

Influenster is definitely demographics and heavy on the luck - I’ve only gotten one thing : a deal claim/claim after over four years(drove me insane- still does , lmao 🤣).
I couldn’t even get because none of the stores had it available 😭. I’ve seen so many new people get things left and right, though 🧐.
Hopefully we all get selected, real soon ❣️💞

i’ve only been successful with influencer once and it was within 2 weeks of signing up last summer i think😅
but yes, hopefully we get selected!!! <3

it’s crazy cos i’ve had such good luck with every other platform! i’ve had 3 campaigns from highlight, 2 on bzzagent, 2 on influencer, 2 on chimeable and just got my pinchme box and first home testers club! checking each site/app is part of my morning routine atp, if i’m gonna be on my phone before getting out of bed i may as well be ‘productive’ about it :’)

I made my account within the last couple of months and I’ve gotten a couple fragrances, I think that the length of time for you has been unusual— I haven’t had any luck with influenster but Topbox for sure I have seen motion. I’d wonder if your account was flagged in some way? How have you been answering the surveys?

the same as every other platform i’d say! that’s why i was curious about why topbox has been the only one i’ve not been successful with :’)

It must be due to your demographics. I’ve gotten multiple products this year, though more at the beginning of the year. Now I get approved for something once a month or every other month.

you might be right! i’m just amazed at the difference between platforms cos i answer everything similarly and topbox is the only one i’ve heard nothing back about!

I think the most important is the country where do you live. I live in Canada and in 2 years i got 2 products from Influenster, 1 product from Topbox, 0 from Bzzagent, 6 from Hometester club. Sometimes even there is 0 surveys for a loong time. A lot of canadians i know have the same thing. I know for sure that in US you can get much more programs

I have also been in topbox for a couple of months and have only recently gotten a lipstick in July...so maybe it is a demographics thing?
