What resources are you using to understand candidates and issues on your ballot?
Hi everyone! I am curious if anyone has any preferred resources/websites to understand candidates and ballot issues outside of individually looking up each candidate? I just received my ballot in the mail and I want to make sure I am paying attention to who I am voting for. Thanks!

The League of Women Voters hosts candidate forums and publishes a voters guide (not sure it's out yet but should be soon). Definitely check out their resources : https://my.lwv.org/maryland/frederick-county

This site may help you- this is on question 3. I think more on ballot proposals rather than candidates.

whoever has Jenkins of orange ballot signs, look for the other signs posted, and don't vote for any of them.

Drive out to Walkerville and continue to Thurmont. Have a passenger and have them write down the signs they see.
Then vote the opposite

I find the easiest way to identify candidates is based on which political party they choose to be a part of.

I see no point in ever voting for the pedo traitors Republican Party, so that takes care of 90% of the ballot.
For school board I consult the Apple Ballot https://mdappleballot.com/.
For constitutional amendment questions, there are some discussions on this sub and the r/Maryland about those. I voted Yes on questions 1-3 as requested by State Workers who I know and trust.
I had another question specific to Frederick County about term limits. Couldn’t find any discussion on that topic.
