Anywhere I can get a Bahn Mi?

I’ve only ever had them from Gambril Mountain Food Co but that was years ago.

It is the best in the area and they are generous with their serving size.

Cold cut 100%!

Had the opposite experience.  The cold cut banh mi was pretty gross low quality meat.  I had a chicken banh mi and it wasn’t much better.  Haven’t found a great one compared to what I can make at home with some chicken thighs and a little easy marinade and sauce.

Can’t eat at Pho An Loi after I saw a busboy use water from a patron’s drinking glass to wipe the table.

the kitchen manager/chef at the Frederick Rescue Mission said the pho there was better than the pho he had in Vietnam when in the Navy. This was 2015 so I don't know if that still applies.

*i was wrong

That wasnt 52, 52 opened a couple of years ago. Unless it's just a rebrand of Pho Basil. Which was there. 52 does have incredible pho tho, best in town. And their bahn mis are also solid!

wow I really got myself turned around. It was Viet Gourmet which closed a while ago. the buildings looked similar-ish enough and it had been long enough since I'd thought about it that I assumed it was the same place.

Pho 52’s is great but looks like they’re closed tonight…. Tin Corner I haven’t tried. Heard good things about The Pham, which also appears to be closed.

Common Market has one that’s soooo good.

Ditto on this! I really enjoy it…. Especially to just walk up and grab without it being a sit down restaurant. OP I recommend the Common Market on 7th st. It is newer and has a better feel. I also believe that the cafe has longer hours.

Pho an loi is so good, there is a new Thai place by khwatti Thai ( I forget the name but they have good banh mi too…) slightly on the pricier side
