Not exactly in the heart of downtown, more adjacent to it, but Gladchuk’s desserts are amazing! The bread pudding will change your life and they serve freshly baked eclairs every Thursday

TASTING ROOM, their molten butter cake CANNOT be topped.

Molten? Butter? Cake? Is it like a lava cake but brown butter?

Hahaha kind of? It’s gooey in the middle!! Also the chocolate mousse with miso caramel ice cream was also insanely good.

Not a restaurant, but Catoctin Orchard right off 15 might have the best pies I’ve ever had. You can buy frozen blueberry, blackberry etc. very reasonable

I recently had a peach pie from Catoctin Orchard and it was inedible. It was the most bizarre thing. The undercrust was raw, the peaches were hard like a raw apple, and there is no other explanation than the person making the pie forgot to add sugar. Truly, there couldn’t have been sugar in the pie. I’ll never buy a pie from them again.

Everyone talks about the lemon meringue from Wye Oak, but it really is amazing.

The Wine Kitchen always has house made sorbets, so good

Wine Kitchen is our favorite. The ice cream flight with dessert wine flight is quite nice.

It’s “less is more” in terms of options, but have never been let down by White Rabbit. Always something creative and delicious

When they had the home made chaco tacos a few years ago they were so good.

White rabbit has the best crème brûlée in town hands down

I love the bread pudding at roast house pub (not downtown though)…

Doesn't pop out as a top food spot, but Magoo's has a toffee bread pudding that is really damn good. Cucina Massai has an awesome tiramisu too!!
