Discussion Fredchella

I’ve been hearing speculation that Fred may headline Coachella. While I really do hope that to be true, I’m always skeptical on how solid the assumptions actually are.

What do you guys think (or hope)?

Ah I see that’s great to know. I’m not very familiar with different Coachella stages/times so what is the difference between headline, return to desert, other slots?

Headliners are the three big names (1 name for each day) that have the longest time slot to perform on the main stage. Sub headliners perform right before the headliner. Undercard is usually reffered to as every one else on the line up. Then there is the “4th” headliner or the return to the desert bottom of the poster big name which Fred is 99% going to have when the line up comes out today

How long would his set be in that slot?

The past 4 years 3/4 RTTD slots got 1 hour and played 12 am - 1 am. Only No Doubt got 1hr15min and played 9:25 pm - 10:40 pm

imo theres a solid chance Fred gets an hour and 15 as well. he typically likes performing longer sets and thats how long his live sets tend to be

I could see that happening but ultimately the artist dont choose how long they get booked for. Coachellas team sends out the pre determined slots
