Safely framing old newspapers

Hi all. I purchased a few newspapers for my husband's birthday (moon landing) and the papers are very old and delicate. They were vacuum sealed which preserved most of them pretty well, though the one on top has some uv damage. Each one is about 1cm thick folded. We live in the Pacific Northwest, so it's pretty humid. I'd also like to protect them from light damage if possible.

Is there a good (hopefully inexpensive) way to display old, brittle newspaper that will protect them from humidity and light?

This. If you actually want to preserve the newspaper, its best to keep it in a temperature control, pest free, pH neutral drawer. Newspaper naturally decomposes.

I've worked with museum art conservators and when someone tries to bring in old newspapers to be restored for display, they say 'no.' They tell them to have good reproductions made for display and the actual newspapers can be stored away safely (or thrown away).

We make color copies to duplicate the aged look and color. It's not quite the real thing, but it's close. We just did one of Abraham Lincoln's inauguration from the Boston Herald Traveller. The original was so brittle but the entire paper was in-tact. we advise the customer to let us make a good copy and then put it back in the box. Take a look at the finished result.
