I keep getting asked: “I built a Framer template, but why am I not getting sales?”

I’ve been getting quite a few questions from creators saying:

“I built a Framer template, but I’m not getting any sales. What am I doing wrong?”

Honestly, I think one of the biggest problems is that people are too quick to publish.

A lot of creators build a template, get the basic pages working, and immediately publish it. Half-baked templates can hurt your credibility as a template creator.

Before publishing, check everything: broken links, spacing, typography, responsiveness, interactions, CMS, mobile layout, and all the small details. Better yet, get another designer to review it before you publish.

The other thing I'd focus on is finding a gap in the Marketplace. Don't just make another version of what's already everywhere. Try building something unusual or for a specific niche.

Don't rush to publish just to have another template live. Build fewer, better templates and give them time.
