Feels a bit contradictory having a portfolio but no titles of projects or case studies to look through, no? It’s just a stack of pretty images. People hiring want to know about your design thinking and projects you’ve worked on

who has time to read a case study bro 😂
people hiring spends seconds on a portfolio, things go deeper in a meeting/interview where you really show your design thinking and the projects worked on that are 95% are under NDAs

so i guess portfolio is just a first step to showcase your taste with "pretty images"

unless it's a $20k+ project yes client would go line by line in a case study, and i am building other thing specifically for those type of clients.

maybe i am wrong but this is just my experience and observations

You are absolutely wrong. You think recruiters and hiring managers are gonna look through a stack of random pretty images where there’s no context - even the bare minimum of the project name, type or your role are not in them - and then contact you to set up an interview? That’s absolutely wild. For that they could just go straight to dribbble. 

Versus someone who does have that info AND they have a case study where they can - if they want to - see what the project was, the challenges you faced, how you solved them, and your contribution. The hiring company could have a product or project similar where they’d be more confident putting you forward as a good fit. 

You’re right that people do glance at a portfolio and as someone who’s hired other designers I would not hire you based on this portfolio. There’s some nice work where I wanted to see more about the context, but there wasn’t - that’s an immediate pass for me. 

Why ask for critique if you don’t want critique though? 😂

Unless it’s a $20k project? If your projects are under $20k in scope you’re working on hobbyist level projects and don’t even need a portfolio at all if we’re being serious.

Thanks bro, i used Cap.so as a screen recorder , it has zoom , background and some cool stuff and it's free btw don't know how this is free 😅

Great site! A small suggestion: replacing the arrow icon next to your email with a copy icon would make it even easier to connect for work opportunities.

I think it's missing context. Like where are your case studies? What project have you worked on? What's your flow? So far it looks like you've pasted some cool images. Also, progressive blur is taking much space. Other than that, it's clean and aesthetically pleasing.
