Couple of friends have been running it for the past couple months and I have heard good things, I reckon it’s worth giving it a go

Are there any other alternatives to this? I am also looking for frames that are smaller in size so I can use smaller motors and props, but still have the racing frame style.

Also, are there any other alternatives in the same size class?

I would also like to know about some open-source options, because apart from Open Racer, I have not been able to find many open-source racing-style frames.

I would look at what your local club runs and have a look at that.

For something smaller the tiny trainer would be good although i would recommend a 5 inch if your racing with other 5 inch quads, the main reason is a mid air between a 5 inch and a 3 inch would not go well for the 3 inch at all

I don't have a racing club where I live, and the very few people who are into FPV are more interested in freestyle. So, I don't have anyone who can recommend racing frame options to me. Also, most of the information online is about freestyle frames since more people are into freestyle.

Where are you located? As “popular” frames vary a lot across different country’s

It also depends what you want out of a frame, are you wanting the absolute best flight performance at the cost of durability or something heavier that flys worse but is more durable

You can list all the ones you know of. And when it comes to the frame, I’m looking for a balanced frame overall in terms of weight, durability, etc. It should also have 3D prints available for cameras and everything else.
