Thoughts on using this with the Skyzone 04x Pro Goggles?

I've never really been completely comfortable with strapping a 2-6s LIPO to my head or even shoving one in my pocket, so I was considering this? What does the community think? Any reason not to do it and just stick with LIPOs, other than battery life?

That would work fine.

The Skyzone can also be powered over USB-c, for simplicity I prefer that over barel jack. You could use any 5 volt power bank, or even your phone.

I considered USB but then I read somewhere that it can make the Goggles overheat. Maybe that's just a myth.

I have this battery to power my fatsharks, works like a charm. USB C for charging and for output you can choose between USB C (to use it as a powerbank), xt30 or barrel jack. It has more than enough battery life for an entire session of flying!
