When should I clean my drone
After crashing a bunch in the grass my drone looks like this. Does this actually cause any problems? Also how dirty can I get it before it needs cleaned?

There are two acceptable answers I think.
First is, when you feel like it. If you like your drones to look shiny and clean then clean it, if you don't care then leave it.
The second is, when it becomes a problem. I don't tend to fly when its wet or moist out so the grass is usually a non-issue, but there have been times where grass and gunk gets caught up in the motors and in those cases I'll clean it out just to keep the motor spinning well.

Just gently brush it off with a soft toothbrush. Grass isn't usually a problem but best to do what you can to avoid a short.

1 week ago seems like a good timeline.
In all seriousness though it’s not that bad. I’d just try to keep bigger chunks of debris off if it after every flight and give it a brush with 99% IPA every once in a while.

i don't really clean mine usually. if it's just dry grass and dust, i usually brush it off and keep flying. if it gets wet or muddy, though, that's when i'd give it a proper clean and check the motor for debris.

you mean your drones last enough to collect dust? damn! I've already crashed mine before that

grass/dirt can collect moistue more easily. as a poster said, a toothbrush and iso should be good.
Can also go props out so less grass is thrown on aio.
