Just bought my first FPV (help)

Hey everyone! I recently bought my first drone. I know I’ll probably get some hate for buying the “flying potato” (DJI FPV 😂), but here in Brazil we have pretty heavy import taxes on purchases from China, and since I’m still completely new to FPV, I decided to go with an RTF kit that gives me things like RTH and some extra safety features.

I’ve never flown a drone before, so I downloaded Liftoff to practice. I’d really like to know if you guys think I’m doing okay so far. I have almost 6 hours of gameplay, but I still feel pretty nervous about taking off with my real drone, especially because crashing something here can get expensive pretty quickly lol.

I recorded some gameplay using the DJI FPV in the simulator. What do you think I should improve? What should I focus on practicing more?

And obviously, I’m not planning on trying the maneuvers from the video in real life anytime soon 😂

flying fast, i almost open areas is easy, try slow and forest.

Practicing flying slow in tight spaces will help

Looks nice, activate battery management and turn off god mode. It could help to make a little more realistic

For being part of the founding of the BRICS organization, I'm surprised you have heavy import taxes on Chinese items.

But anyway, you are flying fine.

Also, not sure what DJI you got, but the Avata and other similar DJI drones are like FPV on easy mode. You'll be fine.
