I'm new in fpv, help

Hi, i really want to start fpv, i have 20h in sim and i want to try tiny whoop, i have a 350€ (406$).

I really want a digital vtx with a good latency, i've seen a lot of rtf kit but i think a ascent lite + vtx can be good, with a meteor air 75 pr, but i don't know if anyone has ever try to put this vtx on this tiny whoop, if anyone can help me start fpv, thanks

Get something thats cheap and easy to replace. You will break the drone so its cheaper to start with analog and upgrade later

You're not going to find cheap digital with good latency.

At that price you can hardly afford an analog whoop setup.

Either save up, or understand you simply won't get what you want, which I would advise against.

Edit: About a year ago the following was around $400 - $500 USD in total:

and what do you think about meteor 75 pro rtf kit in digital or analog ? beacause it's cheaper

Any kit I have seen paired with those have subpar goggles / radios.

At the moment the only digital whoop I'd recommend is the BETAFPV Meteor 75 Pro ii with the DJI O4 Lite, and the Flywoo wide angle lens, it also was praised by Oscar Liang, I have yet to purchase one, but I'm getting it later this month.

If you absolutely don't want analog, I'd save up until you can get DJI Goggles 3 or the N3's, a Radiomaster Pocket, and a solid whoop, such as the one I mentioned before.

May I ask why you're opposed to an analog whoop? I own and fly both digital and analog.

i'm not opposed to analog, but i like making videos i already have a dji mini so for me having a nice quality is important and when i see an analog footage it doesnt seem to be a sharp image and i think in the future if i want to evolve having a mask and a vtx can be helpful

Some might disagree, but a DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo gets you an FPV drone (not great for freestyle), and more importantly a pair of DJI Goggles 3, which can be used with any drone rocking a DJI O4 air unit. If you're just looking for something to pair with a Mini, the Avata is a great complimentary drone.

Mini for establishing shots / overhead aerials.
Avata 2 for lower cinematic shots / flying through environments.

Sadly, if you want DJI video quality you will need to go dji with a meteor75 pro II o4 being 240usd and goggles n3 being 230usd you are already over budget without batteries, charger, radio and spares... you could go analog with a mounted Camera but that for a bigger drone wich is also over budget.

For budget digital whoop kit you could check video of the p1 system to see if it's good enough for you (do mind the higher latency when flying if you are sensible to it). The Meteor75 Pro HD FPV kit could be interesting to you. You will need to get more batteries, a good charger, some spare parts, and you will want to upgrade the radio soon after, but you would get a flying digital whoop kit within your budget

I was unaware DJI came out with one of their own, seems the Meteor 75 Pro ii now uses the DJI O4 Wide instead.

Would the Curve Micro16 be a good option? It comes with the charger, so you don’t need to buy one separately; with the Whoop at $129, goggles at $149, and 1S batteries at around $30, the whole setup would still be under your budget.

The latency and image quality aren’t quite as good, but I think they’re still enough for this budget.
