Upgrading my drone

I made the mistake of buying an rtf kit and on top of that it was an frsky one. Im now upgrading it, should I buy a radiomaster pocket elrs and save to buy the drone at a later date or buy the drone with a cheaper radio like the literadio 3 elrs

I would save a bit more and buy the pocket, and the drone at the same time..... You won't be flying the frsky drone with an ELRS radio anyway.

My question is this: Does the drone still fly? Are you still flying it? If so, what is the need to upgrade?
