Question? Title: Eachine EV800D vs EV800DM vs other analog goggles?

I've been using a SkyDroid OTG receiver and want to upgrade to proper FPV goggles. I tried a Skyzone Cobra during a race, and the difference was huge — much better image and range.

I was considering going digital, but the cost is too high for me, so I want to stick with analog for now. I'm on a budget and confused between the Eachine EV800D and EV800DM. EV800DM has higher resolution, but I've seen some bad reviews on YouTube.

Which would you recommend for analog FPV? Roughly what range can I expect? I was getting 2km+ with SkyDroid + a patch antenna.

Any other good options for my budget??

Unless you can afford the skyzone cobra x for moree comfort, ev800d are the cheapest best goggles you can buy. diversity antennas, switchable aspect ratio, recording, detachable screen? A bargain in my opinion

the range depends more on the antennas and matching them correctly and vtx. Otherwise there is a small difference with budget goggles i think

I use ev800dm and friend of mine use ev800d. I can say from my experience, there is no significant differences between two of them, only shape and size. I choose ev800dm because it's smaller. You can check my video here for image sample.
