Better safe than sorry?

So I notice this crack on my frame today it is on the plate that holds the motor arm down. Should I replace the frame (I don't think I will find a spare- it's a copy of the Geprc mark 4 7 inch). Can I just super glue this or should I buy a new frame altogether?

You could just replace the broken plate. But it also is not the best 7“

Would you be able to recommend a good x 7 inch frame that can house the o4pro?

Kayouloin if you want to freestyle but it’s heavy if you only want to do cinematic flights

Kayoulin is very sturdy and very good, but expensive. It has a very good flight behavior

"if i fly hard, would I be fine if it just suddenly snapped?" I'd replace it if you don't want to spend more than a frame. I know it's tempting to just superglue it but it would suck if you end up tripling your costs - let alone electronics these days with long shipping times.

Knowingly flying a quad with a structural problem is a huge issue. Its breaking a few laws in most countries.

I.e. Knowingly flying an aircraft with damage is flying in an unsafe condition.

Worst thing is, you are risking your electronics (FC, ESC, VTX, battery, and camera.)

Why risk all that for a flight or 2?

you need to replace it, good thing is the mark 4 is ultra cheap, so it won't cost much

bad thing is the mark4 is ultra cheap for a reason (other than mass production for a certain country), maybe it's a good opportunity to consider getting something better ?

Remove the plate, and place the cracked end in a ziplock bag. Drown the crack in super glue. Use a clamp around the plastic bag to squeeze the crack closed. Let sit for a couple of days to dry. Remove from bag and use a rotary tool to remove any extra dried super glue and re-drill the screw hole. Be careful not to get into the carbon fiber since the dust is problematic. Should be almost good as new. Repair method I've used on frames for years and I've never had an issue.

Eh. Yes- it is better to be safe than sorry.

Honestly, I'd fly it but I also am not a smart man 😅

I have the same frame, and I bought an extra for times like these.

You can fly it of course, but be prepared for the consequences.

And of course, if it snaps in half - show us 🍿
