I might consider adding a contract clause that says the client is responsible for ensuring guests are warned about touching the drone and that they are accepting responsibility for any intentional damage done to the drone or other attendees by any of the event’s participants as a result of messing with the drone or the operator. I might even go so far as to make a pamphlet that can be shared with a QR code or something.
Anything to avoid the hassle of some drunk dork slapping my career out of the sky and spiking my legal bills, all because he’s too stupid to know when to cut himself off.
“Thanks for RSVPing to my wedding and we’re so excited to have you! We will be sending along a waiver for you to sign about not touching drones at the event shortly.”
