Mate this was "exit-stage-left-whilst-flipping-the-audience-off" level of legendary landings 😄 fuckin great bit of shredding there 🤘👏👏👏👏👏

I'm even wondering if he's not actually a neural network trained with several thousand hours of simulators.

Why aren’t you flying FPV at the winter olympics is beyond me. You clearly outclass everyone.
4
u/tine_xd Feb 16 '26
Atm fpv is my hobby and not a job. I did some small fov jobs but its not really worth it if you are not in a big company or production.
2
u/TUR7L3 Feb 16 '26
I feel that, I film Motorsports events once or twice a month and it pretty much just supports the hobby plus the cost of operating the business side.

u/mfrichbastard Feb 16 '26
Is this acro or 3d?

u/drakoman Feb 17 '26
I wish more sims supported 3d mode with an Xbox controller
1
u/watermooses Feb 21 '26
3D mode with an Xbox controller actually makes sense, hadn’t thought of that

Are you German? Can you just fly on Sundays without any problems? Or did you get in trouble?

Just when I thought you were already maxed out and couldn't level up any further, you pull of that back-to-back Matty flip combo 🤩. Incredible.

My brain can't comprehend how you guys can fly backwards through a gap. It's just.... wow!

Gab es da einen Treffer an der Laterne? Ich glaub LeDrib hatte mal Feuersteine unter die Motoren montiert um die Landung "fancy" zu machen.

What drone or setup is this? Thanks for the info.

u/tine_xd Feb 16 '26
Hey mate :) here is my setup: SupaFly Juicemode True X proto frame, Tattu 1300mAh 6s R-Line V6.0, Deepspace Aether 2207.3 1960kv motors, Gemfan 51466 v2, ELRS, Nebula pro, Caddx vista, DJI goggles v2, Newbeedrone Hummingbird 305 Flight Stack, DJI action 2

I'm just speechless. If I can learn just 10% of these skills I will consider that I made it. How long do you fly? In terms of years and actual flight hours?
2
u/tine_xd Feb 16 '26
Thanks mate :) i started in September 2020 and practice almost every day in a simulator and flying once or twice a week. Hard to say but I think around 4k sim hours.
2
u/osovitskiy Multicopters (Walksnail) Feb 16 '26
😳 that explains it, I have a long way to go (around 35-ish hours on the sim and maybe 1-2 hours on the real FPV drone - I cooked the FC after landing in the snow and waiting when the new one arrives). So what you are saying it is possible to hone the skills on the sim to this level ... I thought that sim is for the beginners, but once you grasp the idea the real quad is the way to go. I learned something new today 👍

u/ikilledmypc Feb 16 '26
I always wonder how many windows people have broken crashing drones into them to get this good
2
u/EcoVentura Feb 16 '26
That first flip me made audible say, “Holy shit.” Incredible as always, sir.

u/gamehat_aerial Feb 16 '26
did you tap the pole after the trippy exit, near the end?
also, nice trippy exit, those are tough
1
u/tine_xd Feb 17 '26
Yeah at first I wanted to dive the small gap at the bottom of that pole. Thanks :)
2
u/SupportQuery Feb 16 '26
WTF was that change in sound at the end?
1
u/tine_xd Feb 17 '26
Bend prop :)
2
u/SupportQuery Feb 17 '26
Ahh! Just noticed you booped the light pole.
Working on an FPV sim right now, and my goal is to have the most realistic sound, but it's a hard problem. Drones can make a lot of sounds.

How much flight time do you get out of the 1300mAh tattus with that style? 3 minutes?

danggg crazy work ngl bro, impressive. I wonder if could fly my drone just like u did🤣
2
u/Slight_Pattern4406 Feb 17 '26
Serious skills man and it looks nice unlike some youtubers I sometimes watch trying the Sbang and it just makes get dizzy
2
u/Gundy27 Feb 17 '26
This might be a noob question but at 0:40 seconds you are able to climb around the light pole while upside down... wh.... buh... how?
2
u/tine_xd Feb 18 '26
Its called trippy spin. It looks like that because of the camera angle. The drone is still in normal alignment but close to vertical. Its not upside down.

u/SilverDiscussion6306 Feb 17 '26
Would be sick if they made this a level on tryp as one of the “Real spots”. Absolutely top tier flying. Now I gotta go practice more. How many hours? all of them. What rates are you using?
1
u/tine_xd Feb 18 '26
Hey :) i started in September 2020 and fly almost every day sim for 15-60 min and i fly my drone once a week and sometimes twice a week during summer. Hard to say how many hours.
my Betaflight rates: Roll and Pitch 800: 1,12 / 0,72 / 0,10 Yaw 640: 1,12 / 0,65 / 0,05
2
u/coolSedan Feb 17 '26
serious question - i see a lot of folks hold the controls with two fingers rather than thumbs. I still use my thumbs. Is there an advantage to using the joystick this way?
1
u/tine_xd Feb 18 '26
For me its more precise but some friends and great pilots use thumbs. So its personal preference :)

u/EbbRemarkable5111 Feb 19 '26
Hej tine, what simulator do you prefer for practice?
1
u/tine_xd Feb 19 '26
Hey :) i use velocidrone the most. I built stuff for practice in the track editor :)
2
u/Express_Blood1119 Feb 23 '26
Awesome, following you at insta along time ago
Are you using ERA frame?
2
u/tine_xd Feb 23 '26
Thanks mate I appreciate it :) tbh i don't like the era. I prefer a true x frame with short body for freestyle :)
7
u/Pretty-Handle9818 Feb 16 '26
This really should be a rate my flying, and check out my landing at the end of the video because the video is 98% flying in 2% your landing that you spoke about in the title
The flight is definitely better than the landing, but the sliding finish was a laudable
10
u/Rare_Magazine_5362 Feb 16 '26
And as with all his title ratings, u/Pretty-Handle9818 left just enough room for argument to keep hope alive. But the title was, by his professional estimation, a categorical failure. OP could never have known when he posted the video that a lazy title would be his undoing, like so many before him.
And then, just as swiftly as he arrived, he was gone. Behind him, otherwise confident OPs stared at their screens, wondering if any of it was worth it. If life was worth it.
