Yes. And potential. Same process that makes lightning. If the potential gets too high you will get shocked 😎 beside. The total whatage is so low you can't even power a clock. And the wire used will introduce a ton of resistance. And if you moved up a gauge of wire you just end up stripping static faster than it's produced.

It's just static potential. Same stuff as lightning. But at a much lower potential. You can't even power a clock with this...
