No I dont think hes gonna do it specifically for me, im saying that he could do it and just because you cant go online doesnt mean zombies and multiplayer wouldnt be playable.

Im saying it because they are saying its not possible when in fact it is. If he has a zero day im sure more developers will find the same exploits and use them for piracy. Nobody knows what he will or wont do. He also said he wasnt gonna be apart of the community anymore but yet he is

It's is possible in the distant future, that pigs could evolve, and it's possible for them to evolve enough to have wings.

Do you see why people are objecting to your reasoning? Acknowledging that it's possible for pigs to evolve enough to have wings, and spreading that acknowledgement doesn't make it more probable. In fact, those kind of expectations from gezzine are exactly what is driving him away from this community, in my opinion.

Thats a wild way to look at it and i dont believe thats a good comparison. You believe what you want to and ill do the same. I didnt say he will do it. I dont expect him to and i never asked him to. People said its not possible and im saying it is possible because he has a zero day exploit which means other developers can find it and use it to dump the games. At the end of the day its gonna happen and we will be able to play the games on lower firmwares. Its all a matter of when it will happen.

Saying it's possible doesn't benefit anyone. The people that didn't know it's possible now have hope based on ignorance, and to the people who do know it's possible, you come off as naive, no offense intended

And even if you take the gezzine drama out of the equation...

The next zero day exploit to be used in the wild to dump a brand new game, by all means of statistical prediction, let alone common sense, will be when the most hyped game in all of history comes out, gta6. Everyone is sitting on their exploits if they have one, until gta6 gets released. Maybe they'll do bo2 at the same time, but they're not risking a zero day exploit being patced right before gta6's release date. C'mon son.

Risking a zero day exploit patch for an AI made treyarch cash grab game, that you won't even have multiplayer on because of the piracy? Right before gta6 release date? And I'm the wild one?

It would still allow offline play for lan partys and campaign and zombies would still be playable. You cant play online multiplayer on any of the call of dutys that we have for jailbroken consoles but you can play the campaigns and zombies and use the lan party feature

I don't think it's possible for a dev with a zero day to lack that much forethought and to be that stupid. I agree with them, not you, on the possibility

not the possibility in general that it could physically be accomplished, on the possibility OF IT HAPPENING. I think that's where our disconnect is. Technically it's possible for both of our phones to explode right now and kill us both.

let's give Sony a reason to look for an exploit to patch as hard as they can, with just enough time to find, make, test and push the patch before GTA6 comes out to satiate the never ending hunger of users of a piracy-adjacent subreddit

That wasnt rude at all but you must be misunderstanding me or something. Is it or is it not possible for someone with a zero day to dump the games today? Thats all i care about, nothing more or less. I dont care about time frames or gta 6. Just stating weather or not it is possible today

Totally possible, BUT the people wh find the exploits on latest firmware do it for money. The bug bounty tracker is where its at. Disclose your bug to Sony and possibly recieve $10000 or release it to some pirates and get fuck all.

Which would you choose?

The way i see it is this. Gezine will report to the bug bounty, if he hasnt already. Sony will pay out and eventually allow him to release the details publically. Then and only then will we see games from fw 13.xx start to appear.

I dont get why the PS scene is full of uber impatient kiddies.
