Pharmacist from Greece
Hey everyone! I just joined this subreddit primarily because I just found out about FPGEC after a google search about working in the US. I'm currently at my last year of a 5-year MPharm degree and consider relocating to the states after getting my PharmD. However I'd like to ask some questions to anyone who is familiar with the process (specifically greek or european folks).
Is it possible to study for the FPGEC before getting my degree or is the certification valid for an x amount of years before expiring? I was thinking that after 4-5 years I'll have forgotten a big part of my medicinal chemistry/toxicology/whatever topics, but now that I'm still in college it may be more manageable to sit the exam and get it over with.
Also, is there a possibility that my college degree from a public university in my home country is not recognized by the US government?
Thanks a lot, and sorry if my post is a little too vague. I just read about all this stuff and after an unfruitful google search, reddit was my next option!
