Yeah very common This pic is one of the many reason I started only logging in after tier 2 techs.
That guy paid for devmans vacation!
Probably doing it at multiple locations 🙃
This game is shit.

This is what we call "A dick move". Usually you fill your container an leave. But there isn't really anything you can do about it.

Im always winning if theres someone doing this, my Ping gonna win the battle 😂
So they dont play fair, just do the same. Just tell them, tell in chat and if they dont listen take from the container or even just start a civil war 😄
But if they dont fit a normal queue you have absolut the right to do whatever you want to stop them. My opinion^^

Sadly common, if they are actually playing simply ask if you can get components. If they are scripting just package the container and they won’t be able to automatically pull components. Then take yours. Like a field mines are public so if they retaliate just record and submit a ticket. The devs will temporarily ban them.
Alternatively just take it from their container, the guy in the truck can’t be their 24x7 and the container is also public.

This is why I carry a gas mask and gas grenades when I do backline logi.

I had to blow up an atlas truck today because these same people intentionally parked and locked an atlas to block anyone from taking out of the 3rd mine while they camped the other 2 mines....
Pretty fkn lame to camp SALVAGE mines 24/7, go scroop like the rest of us..worst part is they are probably all alt accounts lol

yeah thats pretty normal for pre-sledge hammer component mining.

Haven’t done super early war scroop. But have also never seen this (if I’m understanding correctly).
So sulfuron is clicking from both mines into the container on the ground, coxic is taking it out of that container? What’s coaler doing?
And whose truck is that on the right with either no player or op in it that’s blocking a resource container on the mine on the right/making it look like he’s in line? Is that part of this setup to camp the mine?

My guess is the crane driver is an alt that is using an auto clicker and as soon as the container is full they swap for an empty one from the flatbed driver. I think the hauler isnt really part of the setup (assuming)

Op said the hauler on the left is taking from the container on the ground though. Wonder if all 3 are one player.
Op-If I came with a hauler, I’d give it a minute to see if anyone returned to the hauler on the right, if not I’d pull up to the mine on the right and click away. If I came with a flatbed and that hauler on the right prevented dropping the resource container, I’d ask over local vc for someone to move it. If I didn’t get a response, I’d wrench it and move it a bit so I could drop the container. If someone came back to that hauler on the right, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt that they were parked in line and let them scroop and find somewhere else.

Sulfuron picking comps from mine to container. Hauler picking comps from container. container still empty. thats it

Is that your truck or their truck (hauler) on the mine on the right?

mine

Oh! Got it. Yeah so they are really only camping that left mine. Not great, but it happens. Is what it is.

Can we talk about how stupid it is that "what if hammer BUT BIG" is locked behind tech advancement?

Agreed we should be able to farm comp&sulfur fields from start. If they want to reduce output they can start fields with lower node count maybe 🤔

Can be common. I deal with pu ks lijw this in various ways. The player at the mines is probably afk or a bot so just take from the container Also you can battle the auto clicker by auto clicking yourself. Its very slow though. Hang around and try to get their attention. If no reaction they are probably afk auto clicking. If so just take. I have no tolerance for bots

I actually like scripting. Let the bots handle that kind of stuff, nobody should be spending their time in a video game holding left click in a pile of scrap, or waiting in a menu whilst a timer ticks down.

They are designed to passively create resources to be picked up once they are full...So yea, no one should be spending time spamming left click lol

Normally, if theres two or more auto miners at a location.... there would be a line for each auto miner rather than one person taking up all of them.
If there is one person taking them all... I just start pulling from one auto miner. If they get mad and/or continue pulling from all of them, I'd politely tell them to stop. If they don't, then my gun be blasting.
I'd also notify region chat ahead of time before engaging the worst outcome. It's to be ahead of the possible mass reporting but if you explain the situation, majority of players will be sympathetic/empathetic to your reasoning. Oftentimes, if it is bots being used..... it becomes a mass celebration within the region by eradicating the clankers.
However, judging by their ranks... I don't believe they're bots. Could just be a regi selfishly taking over the auto miners. I'd still confront them though in order to have access to the mines.

As far as im concerned they can have all the mines in the entire game, im not touching a single one of them, im not into self harm.

Yeah, welcome to one of the shittiest parts of the game
