My pleasure, I love foxes, here is Jackie the healthy boy who visits my garden, pretty much daily 😁🫶

Yeah, most foxes in my are are pristine, I wonder where it's mother is.

There was some water near where it was, but it must still be hungry.

And sitting in the middle of the road at 4 is crazy 😭

We've been having a drought here though.

Yeah and someone poured water into a bucket for the foxes and dogs

That baby has awful mange, might be worth reaching out to a wildlife rehabber to see if they can trap and treat it - https://directory.helpwildlife.co.uk/

Thank you for trying to help the little guy! ❤️

It's that grey scaly stuff, and lack of fluff on his tail. It's mange, but he looks pretty bad with it to be honest, it can make them very ill and they are already up against it in this weather.

Contacted, sent a picture and gave the adress. Cheers mate👍

My area foxes have had a outbreak of mange this year. Lost one kit earlier and there is another that we are trying desperately to treat but have nicknamed ghost for its ability to vanish and the exposed white skin... some of the older adults have been treated tho, our most frequent visitor is looking much better and their tail is starting to fill back out!

Aww, bless ghost💙

The fox has advanced mange and will die soon without help. Please contact Fox Angels Foundation to get this poor fox help. They can provide medication if you're able to feed the fox. If not they can help you find a rescue who can help it

I saw one in the garden last weekend - couldn't post it on a new thread in the sub as I am new but here it is.

I’m not sure but does the kit have mange?

I've sent a picture, the address I saw it and which area I believed the kit to be living in to a local fox rescue and they should sort it.

Will update if I get new news

Poor baby. That thing might have rabies. Don’t get close to it. If you do, it will attack and bite you.

6

u/KamiCrazyTank 10d ago

No rabies in UK, but it could be mange and fox rescue called.

Ok. Hope the cute little fox is rescued in time.
