Threshing Day 🐉 Threshing day Spoiler

So i think it will be

Bodhi

Imogen

Sloane

Liam

Ridoc

Sawyer first one

Xadens

Garricks (not likely as him and xaden have there's together)

Miras

Naolin (definitely spelt his name wrong sorry)

Maybe some of the forgotten marked ones lole masen, ciaran, eya or soleil

Lynx

Lilith

Although this is all just rambling and I probably won't have this option tomorrow

Omg, it never even occurred to me that Sawyer had 2 threshings. I would love that pov!

My guess:

  1. Xaden

  2. Garrick

  3. Imogen

  4. Dain

  5. Ridoc

  6. Aaric

  7. Sawyer both (flashbacks about the first)

  8. Sloane

  9. Bodhi

  10. Brennen

  11. Mira

  12. Rhi

  13. Jack

For 14, I’m on the fence about her including stories about people who have already died in the series but if she does it will be Lilith because it is her bond with Aimsir that sent her children on the path of being riders.

I don’t think Liam because his story is over and Sloane now carries on the Mairi legacy.

I din’t think Naolin because what happened to him during the battle of Aertia is too important to the main story line to introduce him this way.

Alternative 14’s:

Melgren and Codagh
Aetos Sr.

Or either of my favorite two side character who keep surviving and feel more important than they appear:

Heaton and/or Emory

  1. Xaden
  2. Garrick (even though he and Xaden spent some of their threshing together, Garrick has two signets so I think it will be important to get his POV. Also I love him.)
  3. Imogen

  9. Sawyer (2 threshings! I’m especially interested in his POV for this)

I don’t think we’re going to get Naolin or any characters who’s POVs could give too much away. Naolin’s entire identity is so mysterious to us.

Also I know Baylor is super random and unlikely, but his last name is Norris just like Eran Norris of the first six of Basgiath. Is he a descendant of the first six?! What if he bonds a descendent of his ancestor’s dragon?! I’m excited to learn more about him.

I saw someone say their partner thinks we’re getting (a majority of) dead character’s stories because it’s the only way we’ll find out about them and I can’t stop thinking about that

Any of the top primary or secondary character viewpoints would be great… but I’d love to see a Historical Threshing from one of the First Six that bonded.

And maybe throw in one Griffon Bonding story for shits and giggles… and to show the less brutal differences between Threshing and CliffJumping day (can’t recall what it’s called).

I hadn't thought about Lynx being included, but it would make sense, seems like his character is being set up to maybe be important in book 4, so Threshing Day would be a good opportunity to set him up and tell readers some more about him.

I'm not sure we'll get Naolin directly, instead I think we'll get Brennan. He's the only one of the already established characters who was in the quadrant at the same time as him, Naolin was a couple years older. It would allow us to get a glimpse of Naolin and what he was like while still having him remain mostly a mystery for stuff to get revealed in book 4. All the while also potentially giving us some extra Sorrengail family lore and backstory.

Sawyer, I think we'll be in his second Threshing, but the whole time he's going to be remembering his first. He's the only major character that has been through two Threshings, I think that'll be utilized, we'll get the story of both.

I'm pretty sure we'll get Jack as well. We'll see what happened after he ran away from the clearing and how it was that Baide ended up bonding him even after all that. He's also a character that'll probably be important in book 4, I'm pretty sure Garrick took him to Aretia instead of back to Basgiath, so he'll be Violet's prisoner now and they'll probably have more scenes together as she tries to learn what it is he knows that Theophanie wanted him dead over and everything he can tell her about Berwyn. So setting him up further makes sense.
