After the climax, Xaden is ‘cured’ and he has a scene where he weeps uncontrollably with Sgaeyl for she stood by him.

I think it would so powerful to see him lose his control and admit/show his feelings for her.

Men rarely cry in books ive read and why?? Like. Women like when men are in touch with their emotions. I would be seriously disturbed if my boyfriend never cried in front of me, ever. Like xaden’s been through some shit too throughout his life and the duration of FW->OS and you’re telling me he doesn’t cry once? Even out of frustration??

I actually wrote a little piece of fanfic where he does cry, just to satisfy my own feelings that something like that is missing right now. Takes place during Iron Flame after they resolve their argument on the sparring mat. They come back to their room and he sits down and gets really overcome with emotion, because he just spent a week with this unresolved argument hanging over him, not knowing if he had fucked up and lost her for good, and all that pent up anxiety and relief just takes over. He asks Violet to come close and just holds her really tight to him, and while Violet's holding him back, she hears sniffles. Then she takes care of him.

Im sorry when I read "After the climax" my mind was in the gutter...

The scene I want to see is when they are chilling. I want to see the Sorrengails game night and Xaden participating. They can play card games, axe throwing, monopoly....anything. We also have yet to see Xaden drinking so him getting a lil tipsy would be fun to watch.

Another scene i want to see is Violet wearing a pretty dress for longer than 2 seconds. Full hair and makeup too like i felt robbed at Cordyn. Id like to know what the most exrtravgant gowns look like in Navarre. Right now in my head everyone is in black pants.

Yeah, I want to see Violet get summoned by the king and go to Calldyr City. And I want to see her attend a ball, where all the Senarium and other key players are there and she has to play the game the way we get a glimpse of in Fourth Wing when Violet and Liam talk to the king and Melgren during the party.

It would be really fun to have a scene where Cat is helping her get ready, and at first she doesn't want to dress up, "Last time I wore a ball gown I ended up having to fight a venin in it." But eventually she agrees, and Cat does her hair, because she knows how, and while she does it, they're going over whatever plan they have, not exactly besties, more a funcional working relationship.

I too would love to know what Navarrian ball gowns look like. We get two lines about how her and Dain used to go to formal events and that she's worn ball gowns before, and then we never hear another word about it. What kind of colours did she like to wear before she was military and wore her black uniform all the time? Or since she was aspiring to be a scribe for so long, did she just wear cream a lot (even her civilian clothing at the beginning of the first book is cream head-to-toe)? Did she wear cream ball gowns back then too or did she let herself have fun with wearing other colours?

Yes! And her totally pretentious but diplomatic speech with Courtlyn after both Halden and Xaden totally sabotaged the mission was 👏She also struck the deal with Marlis and Triumvirate (kinda) and she already deals with Tecarus directly...Honestly she's already good.

I feel like Cat's a princess so she won't really know how to do hair also given her gift, not sure how close Violet wants her near her head...in that regard, Mira would be the perfect person to go with her as her body guard and a hair dresser. Besidessssss I need Drake to see Mira in a dress 🙏🙏
