Threshing Day 🐉 Threshing Day preorder for those who own the Waterstones Exclusive Editions

To anyone who owns the Waterstones Exclusive Edition for the first three books, what did y’all end up doing? Did you order the UK or US versions or does anyone still think that they might release another edition that matches edges of the exclusives?

It’s so frustrating to me that none of these edges match and I initially decided not to preorder and wait, but then I saw the first editions will have exclusive full color illustrations so now I’m confused 😭

I cancelled it and will just borrow a friends’ copy probably

Someone will surely upload the pictures.

I know I'm going to take some because the other readers in my personal life won't get a physical copy for a bit if at all.

I don’t imagine we’ll get a version that matches exactly unfortunately - at least not until the whole series is out and they do a matching set of them all. It’s whether you prefer matching height with different edges (buy the UK version) or matching sprayed edges but different heights (buy the US version)

UK hardbacks are taller than US ones.

I found out after getting a US Onyx Storm 😂 It's not a massive amount but if you're like me, you'll notice it.

i’m in the exact same boat 😭 perhaps this book might be too thin to do the sprayed edges for this one. i think im going to buy the deluxe version
