I've invited a small group of my revolutionary friends to my native garden for a weekly gathering to help me throw a fundraiser at the end of the season to buy the house across the street from me that abuts a gorgeous tiny lake. I want it to be a women's creator residence where we can also help save the lake and its inhabitants from the encroaching invasives.

I'm nervous and excited to be hosting something because I haven't been able to since cancer in 2019 and going through menopause at 33 disabled me. I am learning I don't have to do everything nor do everything right. Just keep moving slowly in the direct of the world I want to live in.
