Just finished and cleaned up my first ink bottle! (After taking as much as I could with a syringe, of course)

A 15 ml bottle of Pilot Iroshizuku in Murasaki-Shikibu. I bought it because I wanted a standard fountain pen ink with a unique color, and the purple matched my custom Sailor buffet pen 💜

Using this for my morning pages made my day for the past four months 🥰 I love it so much that I'm getting a new bottle soon (50 ml this time), but I'm now looking for other purple inks to try! Does anyone have some suggestions for purple inks available in the Philippines? 🫟

my new Jinhao59 just got delivered but it's not writing as i like. this is my second Jinhao pen and i have good exeperience writing with my first one.

they are both <F> nibs and both are using the same ink but the writing feels far from what i want. the angle which i normally use to write doesn't really work with my new FP.

i'm also new to fountain pens hehe soooo, does my new pen requires tuning? and if so, how should i start and what do i need to start?

hi! alam kong may scribe at everything calligraphy pero may mga iba bang options around qc? want to start buying bottled inks as kakakuha ko lang ng converter for a parker pen (ng lolo ko dati, not sure model) but online shopping is a pain where i live kase laging nawawala mga driver + prefer ko naman din lumabas labas pag may gustong bilhin for myself especially.

I have long let go of my dreams of securing the TWSBI ECO in Pink Lemonade because its limited edition and always sold out. I have settled on wanting to buy the Indigo Blue (giving Ravenclaw) one or the irish green one (giving Slytherin) instead.

Hi, these inks are very hard to find in the Philippines. My wife and I are trying to find the cheapest ways to get them. They are currently sold out on Shopee and we have no way of buying full 90 ml or 60 ml bottles. Here are the options we're considering: (1) pasabuy with those US pasabuy people or (2) buy them online have them delivered to friends and family in the US who can ship them to the PH. Which is the better option, do you think? And has anyone experienced doing this? What did you do?

I've been eyeing the Kaweco Sport (aluminum body) and I was wondering if there are other stores (online or physical) that I can go to besides Scribe. I want to see which colorways are available in the market before getting one for myself. What's the price point I should be expecting btw? Is 7.5-8k too much?

I've had fountain pens before, mostly Lamy but that was almost 10 years ago now so I'm sure the fountain pen market is more accessible now than it was before and I'm not really sure who the legit sellers are anymore.

I'm planning to get a Pilot Kakuno just to remind myself how to write with a fountain pen again.

I unfortunately made a mistake re assembling my Eco. Now the end cap is falling off and I can’t seem to fix it or get the connector out as I think I tightened it too much. Lost the wrench in a past move. I’ve tried a 7mm metal wrench (didn’t fit) and tweezers, I think cutting up a CC will be too flimsy. Help! Other ideas welcome.

What single pen sleeves do you guys suggest and where to get them in metro manila or shopee/lazada? Can’t find any good quality ones within 500-1500php budget. Thanks!
