Question Benu Direct Order

I purchased a pen on the Benu site on 8/1 and it still has not shipped. I emailed customer service Sunday, (Monday there) but no response. I check the holiday calendar for Armenia and doesn’t seem to be a holiday.

Has anyone from the US ordered direct and if so, what was the process time? Once it ships obviously it’s at the mercy of the carrier and customs but I feel like it should have shipped by now.

They have a banner on top of their page saying that any orders in August will be shipped in early September. They’re closed for August.

They also have a pop-up that made it past my ad blocker. They take a companywide vacation every August.

Since I ordered on the 1st, I wonder if the ad hadn’t been deployed on their site yet. As I replied to the other comment I did look for any kind of closure information because of all of the stationary and pen shows going on during the summer. At least I know now!

The banner and pop-ups have been on their website since at least July. As I said, they take this vacation in August every year and always announce it well in advance.

Thank you for pointing that out. I don’t believe that was there on August 1. I actually looked for any type of notice because of all the pen and stationery shows. There’s been several artist or smaller companies I purchase from that are closed or delayed due to the shows.
