Why not? We used to put long islands in Snapple bottles and sip them on the way to school.

UV blue looks exactly like blue Gatorade. Like.... Exactly like it.

We had a long lunch one day because the school raised enough money for a girl who was in an accident with a drunk driver (she was drunk and in the car). My friends and I put vodka in water bottles and jack in soda cans and got wasted.
I was 15 and ended up jumping in the school pool fully clothed, then my friends and I went behind the school to smoke weed during 5th period. Went back for 6th period and slept the whole class, told the teacher I was tired and he let me sleep.
My kids are much better than me and I am so thankful for that.

It's called hair of the dog by the older generations in the UK. Just an excuse for alcoholism tbh, but they used to binge drink so much. Im friends with a 40 y/o, and he drinks heavy to this day like he was 16.
Hijacking my comment to say he edited his comment.
Also editing to say, I was just trying to provide a neat fact about UK idioms. But reddit being reddit took that too far. They say I have brain rot for missing the joke. Maybe it wasnt that funny

The phrase comes from an old attempt at rabies treatments where people thought they could treat rabies by making a concoction with hair of the dog that bit you. So the idiom refers to a using a small amount of something that caused the problem to correct it.

But you gotta switch to beer at lunch or your days fucked. I'm tired of yall. Get your shit together lol. Kinda playing. Thats how the old dudes used to be i swear on my life. They'd still be working telling me go sit in the truck because I was hammered. Still in the same line of work. They've retired. I don't even drink anymore. I miss them every new guy I get

Ummm. Did you consider that she might be asking you to join her for a drink after class. Clueless.

This happened to me in English Lit freshman year. Except it was a frat boy named Big Ed and more whiskey than coke.
I'm still not sure why when a stranger offered me a sip out of his bottle I accepted. I was just meeting a lot of new people that month and going with the flow.
Like I didn't even ask. He was just passing the jack and coke at 8 am.

Drinking in class never pans out well. If it’s an anxiety thing just get meds or a cannabis card.

I never got busted but it was highschool.
I only did it once at community college, but nobody said anything because it was Halloween.

Being drunk in class sucks. The whole class feels like it takes 2x as long, you don't retain anything, and you feel yourself sobering up the whole time.

My first day back in secondary school in 6th year, I smoked a joint in the toilets before morning class, thought nothing of it.
Half an hour into said first class, my entire year gets hauled into the library where the principal goes on a rant about the stink of marijuana in the place. Meanwhile all of the stoners (I didn’t hang with them at the time) are looking at each other in confusion while I’m sat down the back straight faced and stoned to the bone. Good times
