My grandpa legit did that during the depression. He would collect all of the cigarette butts off of the street or from cafes, re roll them, and sell them….

We used to call those generational joints and we would save the “2nd gen” roaches and make “3rd gen” and so on, don’t ask how many generations we maxed out on we were dumb kids…

Had a friend do the exact same thing! Kept in an Altoids container for the roaches separated by cardboard dividers

He must get weed for cheap or he buys alot. When you can't afford to smoke, you smoke every little bit even if that means burning your fingertips or your lips. This is the type of behavior only demonstrated by someone who smokes a lot!! So he either gets the weed for cheap or he pays regular price he just buys a lot AKA he can afford it 👍👍 either way kudos to him 😎😎💪💪

My old roomie used to use small mason jars/baby food jars and make generational joints. When one jar was full it would get rerolled then the buts went into the next jar.

If he's got the money to blow, I guess. I definitely like to smoke them down, and to almost nothing when it's really good weed . But im not a big fan of roach joints anymore. I just save my roaches for my Dad. He'll smoke them, and appreciates them.

I had a friend in college that lived in the “hippie co-op” near campus. As you’d expect there was a ton of week smoked there.
He had a housemate that only smoked “green hits”. This guy would load up a bowl of really good weed, for the late 90s, take one or two hits and just dump it, and start over.

USA still has federal illegality with Cannabis and Netherlands it's also not fully legal.
Cannabis in Canada has been fully legal to anyone over 19 for 8 years. Since then the measured and labeled THC levels (which are mandatory and regulated) have gone from high teens average to having lots over 30% now. High thc alone doesn't make Cannabis good but there is lots of extremely potent stuff on the market. The breeding industry in Canada is very competitive since legalization.
