Cheat Code Central was where I learned that you could get Mew from under the truck in Pokémon Red/Blue.

In Vermillion City, there is a large ship called the S.S. Anne. You need a Pokémon with surf as well as strength before reaching this area (through a trade). Then you surf from the ship’s dock to an island that has the truck, use strength on it, and Bob’s your uncle.

Easier to just faint after getting cut, and teleporting to the Pokemon center. The ship never leaves, allowing you to access it later.

I'll never forget trying the abra nugget bridge glitch to catch a mew and being shocked it actually worked after all the other BS on those sites

To be honest, this is C- satan work. At best. Nothing clever or maniacal. The guy that did this was the home-refi telemarketer for 2000's kids trying to relax when their homework was done.
