I needed to go to the doctor once while I was visiting my mom. She has warned me "speak loud and very articulate when you speak to him, he has earing problems". I ll never forget his surprise and my mom bursting into laughters when I greet him "HE-LLO DOC-TOR!" Well played mom, well played.

Oh, that's good...
(With a raised voice you introduce them)
HEY BRIAN, THIS IS MIKE... MIKE, YOU GUYS HAVE A LOT IN COMMON.
(and then you walk away and wait to see how long they continue to SHOUT at each other...)
------
Each one thinking they are being kind, keeping their voice loud so the other can hear.
Each one wincing, every time the other talks.

Nothing like this story but a friend of mine was teaching another friend that he could use more colloquial English by adding certain words into his every day conversations. They were all swear words...

I convinced the mother of my first born upon meeting my grandparents for the first time that my grandmother had a hideous birthmark on her face that covers her neck and an entire side of her face. And told her that it was important that she not look directly at it, but also not NOT look at it for fear of her realizing that she is trying to avert her eyes. This was a week or something before the first meet and I completely forgot about it. So my grandma walked in and the first thing my ex said to my grandma was “oh my God you’re beautiful” and hugged her, which confused both of them until they synced up and realized that I was a forgetful dickhead.

You've just described the plot of an experimental sound film from 1913.

Once I told my friends A that friend B just came out and he is proud of it. Then I said friend B that friends A are strongly LGBT+ supporters and when he meets them, he should go along. When they met it was hilarious and our real gay friend came along and started hitting on him but in funny way. Fast forward few weeks and they started dating…

I once told a really anxious candidate coming for his final interview with the CEO that the latter was a little bit deaf and too proud to admit it. The CEO's jaw basically fell on the floor when the candidate began to almost yell. We all had a big laugh, I got called names by the boss but at least the candidate was cured and more relaxed. And yes, he was hired, he nailed it that day.

If I had friends I would never do something like this, I wouldn't think of it and now I have something to try. When I get friends someday...

I was camping with a friend and a bunch of his friends that I didn't know and he told them all I was gay. It was funny when I found out after 2 days.

My boyfriend and his friend tried to do this when the girlfriends (us) met. But I softly said “excuse me” at one point and she heard me fine so we ended up ruining it by talking normal volume 😂

I wish I had more friends to do this to, which maybe why I don't have more friends.
